The ongoing trend towards alarm clock sized wrist watches is rather tiresome. At 36 mm case size with 18 mm lugs, this Timex is not a lady's watch, it is a classic sized men's dress watch. In fact, by switching it to a leather band it's absolutely spot on as a men's dress watch. The face is clean and uncluttered by date windows, etc., and the stainless steel case and lumed hands are quality touches. Mine looks perfectly fine on my 7 1/2" wrist, and has proven to be quite accurate and reliable. Highly recommend this watch if you're looking for a solid value in a clean, conservative, dress watch.

The watch is very handsome, face is a little bigger than I imagined (my fault, should have read the details more carefully). The disappointment is that it arrived not working. I assume the battery is dead. Fooled around with it and concluded there is no way to get around it: must make a trip to have a new battery installed and the wrist band shortened. Grrrr... Not happy about that!
