Great item for for the value.
The media could not be loaded. These panels work well they're good size and a good fit. The first set of panels I got the spring was slightly bent or short. I reached out to the manufacturer and they sent replacement the second set of panels had no issues it works great. One thing when you're installing this to make the whole slightly smaller than what the template that comes with the item is because once you make it too big these will not lock into place better to be slightly smaller and have the ability to slightly increase the size then not be able to stay in place at all. If you're going to be frequently removing these and putting them back in the springs is going to get weak and it won't hold into place so if you're someone who needs access frequently I would get a different product. The ease of use for this product is fantastic the value for the money is there it's lightweight. And gives you a door opening to where you're trying to access.

Lazy DIYer solution to not patching drywall when running cables.
So got one of these "doorbell" cams and decided POE wired the best solution as I dont want people "Jamming" my wifi signal and cutting out the cam.So the challenge is running ethernet from the door jam down into the basement and snaking that cable into the utility / mechanical room where the modem, switch, and dvr lives. This required I make a hole in the basement ceiling under the door jam.. in which this cover was used to "hide" my hole.Good thing too... When I made the square hole from the basement ceiling.. It exposed the under side of the floor which it happens to have a copper heat pipe (for my baseboard heaters) running right under.Had I drilled from top down I would have blindly drilled a hole into that very pipe.. do I drilled UP into the jam of course avoiding that very pipe.. able to cable pull down and run the ethernet from the mechanical room to the camera. This cover .. covered up said ugly hold and gives me options in the future to pull more cable .. or get access to the heat pipe at that location in the future.Best of all my wife didnt notice it for weeks till I pointed it out. Yes I put a hole in our new home (something she wants me to avoid) and saved me a few days of prepping sanding and color matching as I am capable of patching and making it look good.. but this cover .. took all but 30 seconds to install vs a 3 day affair.Great solution and allows flexibility and access for the future!

Super simple to install & looks clean
Super easy to install. We had a small hole opposite the shower in our travel trailer that was necessary when we remodeled the bathroom. The wall covering is paneling, which is pretty solid. For years I had a white board hanging over the hole to cover it. I wanted a smaller white board so, but decided to fix the hole properly & bought this access panel. Used the template to draw the outer edges of the hole. Used my sonic saw to cut the hole. Took more time to prep some tape & paper as catcher for the sawdust since this right next to my mobile office. After cutting the hole, the access panel fit nicely & look good. Highly recommend. Now to tackle the holes in the wall from when we removed the bunk beds to make my office...always something.

Very useful if you don't want to patch holes.
I've used these before. If you have to cut holes in plaster or sheetrock walls or ceilings and don't want to spackle or lose the ability to accesswhat's behind your newly made "hole-in-the-wall", use these. They just pop in and if you ever need access they are easily removable. Very useful, very easy to use, and depending on where they're used, blend in fairly well (they are paintable).

Worked perfectly for ceiling access to a water shutoff valve in my basement
The previous owner of my house had covered up the access to a water shutoff valve for my outside spigot with a fake air register vent. I guess that was OK from a visual standpoint but it wasn't great for getting access to it easily every year to turn it off in the winter and back on in the spring. This cover worked perfectly--I already had a drywall saw and just needed to expand the existing cutout to the 8"x8" cutout needed for this one. Their template made that easy and then it snapped right in. It sits flush to the ceiling and is easy to get in and out without any further need for a tool to access the shutoff valve.

Access for electrical box
It works fine. Designed to fit between two studs that are 16 inches apart. It has two spring actuated levers that captivate the panel in the wall or ceiling. I use it to access an electrical box in the ceiling.
