I’ve purchased this product three times now. The first time I was delighted and transported back in time to when I was 8 and would spend summers in the Dominican Republic at my grandparents’ home enjoying pieces of the Dulce De Leche when we behave good. I went through the first batch in about a month. Although a tad costly I thought it worth it. The second time I brought I came across this weird after taste almost as if it was hat sauce. I figured I had got one bad packaged and tossed it and jumped into the second one and the same thing happened. All three packages tasted awful. I passed it off as bad luck draw and waited about a year when I came across my old order and decided to reorder it.Guess what? Same bad after taste in all three packages. The cost was originally a concern but I figured worth it to enjoy it again until I just discovered while reading a past review and learned that it is made stateside. That and the cost will now have me looking for a different supplier.It's too bad.
