Absolutely the easiest way to decorate a cake. Pour isomalt into the mold and then paint with food covering. Super sturdy yet comes out of the mold, no problem!

Works well for use with candy melts but the tips of the sea star are a little thin as well as the end of the seahorse tail and break easy but still looks good

I was looking for some interesting shapes to use in building some of my pottery pieces, I love the variety offered on this piece, however I found ironically that the silicone was too pliable and the pieces were more likely to break while trying to remove them from the mold. I think that with a fondant the mold would work fine, but it, unfortunately was not the right fit for my pottery clay.I will keep trying to see if I can continue to use this in other mediums.

The mould can be used with paperclay, polymer clay or casting pouring medium.

It gets the job done but the star is too thin and breaks as soon as you try to demold, same as the seahorse, the nose and tail break. I did manage to make an awesome cake though so 3/5
