Glide Pro-Health Clinical Protection Floss, 2 Count

I'd never used a waxed floss before but recently had a couple implants and this is the only floss I can use. The regular flosses are like fishing line and impossible to get comfortably under the implants and harsh on delicate tissues. This is gentle on my gums and will get between the tightest contacts. But!... it looks like many waxed versions are being phased out for health and environmental reasons, so it's back to square one to find something comparable. .

As a Dental Hygienist I would highly recommend this floss, especially with those that have appliances in there mouth. It will not get stuck under the permanent retainers, bridges, etc. This works great for everyone completely glides in between teeth.

It's floss, it cleans between your teeth. What more can be said? Okay, okay it also has a fresh minty flavor though it could be a little stronger but that's not the point of floss after all. In addition it's actually one of the most effective shapes of any floss I've tried to date, truly catching surface areas that other flosses have missed. The only issues I have had includes occasional breakage (once out of every 10-15 uses) and the fact that the floss tends to fray on the metal piece that is designed to break it off from the floss canister, but those are almost non-issues to me.Update 5/28/13: The first unit has developed a quality issue as follows. Apparently the little metal tooth that cuts off the end of each piece of floss can become dull or perhaps bent with every day usage, which ends up making it next to impossible to cut off each piece of floss as it just keeps pulling out, frays and does not sever! I have contacted Oral-B about this quality issue in the dispenser.

I have used this brand for years. Tried a few others and went right back to it. They glide through my teeth and clean the well. Was nuts for ever wanting to try a brand.

This floss is super smooth and easy to use. If you are someone who hates flossing, this is the floss for you. It will make you love it.The only one downside is that sometimes you luck out and get a floss case with thinner than usual tape. I much prefer when the tape is thick as it does a better job at cleaning the teeth with less effort. The thin tape is still fine though.I tend to stockpile them as they tend to sell out!

After using this a couple of times I threw away what was left of my Crest floss. ORAL B GLIDE cuts cleanly when I tear off a piece to use. ORAL B GLIDE slides between my close fitting teeth without excess force that hurts my gums when it finally slides in. ORAL B GLIDE does not catch on my fillings and crowns, leaving fine floss hairs clinging between my teeth that are almost impossible to remove. My flossing is no longer a dreaded/stressful/hateful burden. My teeth have been saved!

Best floss. Slide easily between very tight teeth.
