WUHANWUCR18MT Crash 18-Inch Medium Thin

For the past 7 years I've been playing guitar in bands but only playing drums for one off gigs or church services so i haven't been able to shell out money for expensive cymbals. I am back to drums being my main band instrument, and I'm now on my second 18 inch Wuhan crash! My first cracked after 6 years of heavy use, playing in metal, punk, and various rock bands. These things hold up nicely. It's a very pretty, bright cymbal and it holds it's own. I currently pair the 18 inch wuhan with a 16 inch Zildjian A, and despite looking vastly different, they sound nice together. I have always gotten compliments on how Wuhan 18 inch crashes sound. Mix these with a bunch of other B20 cymbals and it should sound pretty good all around. I may replace my zildjian with a wuhan 16 as well!

Used it at church this morning. Sounds amazing and the price is unbeatable. Ordered the 16" as well. Hope they last. Beautiful finish as well.

I play drums and I love the sound of these cymbals and they are normally of great quality but I recently got one and I have played on it twice and it’s cracked. Never hit hard ,never dropped. I do believe I have a bad product in this one.

This thing is trashy, freaking amazing Chyna sound. This thing will have the ladies singing domo arigotdeeznutz it's got such a authentic b20 sound. But it, beat it like it owes you money! I'm banging there smaller 16 inch sister too!

Don't do it.... When I was younger I used to grab random thing in the house like pots and pans and add them to my drum kit just to see if they could add anything of value to it. I can honestly say I have hit pots that have more musical qualities. I have learned the hard way that Wuhan is a WILDLY inconsistent cymbal. I have a Wuhan 16" medium thin crash which is darker than any 18" crash I have ever heard including this 18" Wuhan and they are from the same line of cymbals! And not only is this cymbal brighter than its 16" counterpart but it has the melodic tuning of a trash can lid that was murdered by a baseball bat. That's the best way to describe the sound and every time I hit it I cringed, and waited for my neighbors to call the cops on me. The bell is completely undistinguishable, and not in a good way. While I actually like my 16" Wuhan as sort of a dark complementary cymbal I will not order anymore Wuhans just because I cant roll the dice at $90+ bucks a pop when I can get a high quality used yet consistent cymbal from a music store website. If you ignore my warning and take a gamble on this cymbal, there is an EXCELLENT chance you will regret it.

Very pleased with this purchase. 18 inch medium thin Wuhan crash has a trashy sound but that’s what I was shooting for. No issues with the seller and the package came in a day earlier than first predicted.

Awesome crash, explosive and impressively loud for the thickness! Beautiful sound! It's not for heavy hitters, it's a medium thin cymbal. I loved it, looking to get a 19" in the future!
