I love this. It's sharp, has a comfortable, hefty grip, and lasts a long time. The only problem I have is everyone around me constantly trying to borrow it.

These are so good they sprout legs and walk off
I hate to say how many of these I have bought over the years. They are my favorite go to knife and I use it at least once a day. The snap off blade insure you have a sharp tip all the time. The knife itself fits my hand for a safe grip on it. Goes thru cardboard like butter and I would say it is my favorite all time too. I have tried cheaper brands but always come back to this one. I need to add a tracking device to mine, because I set them down and lose them all the time.

Extra Long Blade is real useful, but the knife is too big.
The "ginsu" knife really is the way to go for a utility knife in construction. Having the extra blade length means you can saw through deep material and do flush cuts. However, I had to return it because the thing is so big it doesn't fit in my bags or my pockets or anywhere. Even the slim model has a grip that's a little too wide and 'grippy' to pull out of my tool bags and put back in, I was fighting it all day. I've used the BeWalt equivalent for years, and it's a little janky now. So I went for the upgrade and this felt better made, but it takes up too much space. It's also plastic and the BeWalt is all metal. The locking mechanism does feel very nice on this one though; much better than the BeWalt. Try the H-1 I liked that model more than this, but still returned both. If you're leaving it on a bench or in a drawer it's perfect.

Exactly what I needed.
The grip is nice and comfortable. The blade is stable when cutting through many layers. The blades are super sharp and great for cutting through chipboard. I use this for book binding and I cut many pages of paper with it. I get nice clean edges just doing small even pressured strokes.

Great product
You will probably throw away your "utility knives" and box cutters after you use this. Make sure you get extra blades. You will use them.Nuff said.

blew me a way - and caused me to rethink what I carry
This knife cause me to rethink all my assumptions about the usefulness and viability of using a box cutter over a razor knife. First and foremost is the thickness and width of the blades themselves. The knife fits well in the hand, is easy to find in the tool pouch and best of all - you don’t have to stop to change a blade - just take your linesman’s and break the current tip off.I still have my razor knives and blades, but they are idle and have been so since a few days after the Olfa’s arrival. This is the single greatest utility knife I have ever used…If it wears out (and so far that doesn’t seem likely), I will definitely buy another one!

Great for one-handed use
The ratchet mechanism on other Olfa knives usually requires two hands to really lock down. For that reason I tended to stick with traditional utility knives with the thumb slider. This knife has all of the advantages of the other Olfa knives but can be used with one hand, and the blade stays in place securely. The 25mm blade is extremely durable and I have never snapped one by accident. As far as I'm concerned, the traditional utility knives have been made obsolete by this knife. The handle is a bit chunky and rubbery, and I wish it was shaped like the standard rectangular ratchet-lock knives, but that's not a big deal.
