I bought this Kastar LP-E5 battery as a backup for my Canon Rebel T1i, and it works just as well as the original. The fit is perfect, and the charge holds up surprisingly well for a third-party battery. I’ve used it for several photo sessions now, and it hasn’t let me down. It also works flawlessly with my LC-E5E charger, which is a big plus. I am so danged excited about this!!!! Years ago I ordered a 2nd battery for my Canon (it was from a major camera supply house) & when I got it, it jammed in my camera!!!! It was a horrible experience. When I ordered this one, I was a little nervous but.... It's fantastic!!!! It fits, perfectly!!!! It's works, perfectly!!!! If you own a Canon XSI & you want or need a new or 2nd battery? This one is the ticket!!!!
