So, I bought this to cover the key fobs for my 2018 Honda CRV. These covers are a very tight fit and can take a bunch of tries to get on. I eventually turned the covers inside out, placed the fobs on top of the inside out covers and folded the covers around the fobs. Try it. It will eventually make sense to you.In terms of quality, this is soft, very thin plastic. I think it'll provide a little bit of protection from scratches but not hard drops. You'll want a silicone case if you want something that'll protect your keys from drops. The problem with a lot of silicone covers is they add a little bit of bulk.The plastic is also very smooth and slick. This might slip out of clumsy hands. If you want something grippy in your hand, try a silicone cover or a leather cover.I recommend these if you just need something to differentiate keys. I couldn't get the black silicone covers I like. Our cars are both Hondas and all the fobs we have use the same type of covers. Plus, the only color cover I like is black (not any of those ugly covers) so I was left with something like this product. With this product, my keys have some type of cover and my wife and I can differentiate our keys.

I am extremely disappointed in the quality of this product, especially since each fob cover is 9.99/per. As shown in the pictures I included, the silver outside lining of this TPU key fob cover started to break apart and come off as I was putting it on my key fob for the very first time. The TPU key fob case fits perfect once it is on the fob (as one can see in the pictures), but because it is such a tight fit, you have to move the sides of the TPU cover out of the way and use some force and tension to slide the fob into the case. As a result of having to move the plastic TPU around and out of the way, it creates the cracks and breaking apart of the silver (chrome) outer lining. Plus, not to mention, the silver (chrome) gets warn/scratched off the TPU very easily. In one of the pictures it shows where the silver (chrome) had warn off from just sliding a key ring over it to put the fob with the cover on a key ring. This is not a durable product at all.

i have a 2017 CR-V, just got this cover yesterday, and it took some effort to fit over fob! tried inserting starting from the narrow end - nope. then the wide end - fail. tried using a spoon to help it along - nope. it felt tight and seemed like it would be way too small. after failing several different ways, i thought one way i haven't tried is sliding it in from the side. slid fob into cover sideways (corners #1 and 2) , then 2nd wide-end corner (#3), and finally the last, short-end corner (I worked counter-clockwise). worked like a dream. wish it came with instructions because it sure would make it easier. :)

Not only was this hard af to get over my keys, as soon as I stretched it to fit, the painted plastic crumbled and I now have a cheap looking piece of crap over my fob. This cover looks beautiful. People comment on it all the time. The only problem with it is that when I had a wreck, the car was at the collision center for a week. The techs left the keys on the dash in the sun and the fob cover faded in color drastically to a light baby blue. I had it a year prior to that and it stayed pretty much the same shade until it got in the sun for a long period. I did replace it with the same color blue and the difference was night and day. I give it 5 stars for everything except durability due to fading.

I bought the black version and the actual item is purple in any light you put it under. Zero question, without a doubt, the color is purple and not black. Otherwise it's a good case that fits together very well and tightly. Two pieces come together in a snug and secure friction fit. I liked that it had the clear cover part that shows the original fob buttons. It is a smooth TPU material so there's no grip to it like silicone, almost slippery if your hands are wet or freshly lotioned up. One benefit of the TPU material is the cover stays clean a lot better as compared to the silicone one I ended up getting that shows lint and dust immediately. I would've been happy and kept it if it was anywhere close to being black in color, but purple wasn't my thing. Amazon was perfect as usual with the return process.

It is a little difficult to put on. However I read somebody else’s review where if you turn it inside out it makes it easier. Hurt your fingers a little bit to put on but once it’s on it looks amazing!

Easy install. Attractive appearance. Needed something to easily tell my hubbs' Honda fobs apart from my Honda's fobs. This was perfect. Mine have bumpers (silver for him), his don't.
