Is this flute with Gemeinhardt warranty? How many year?

I looked on the Gemeinhardt website bc I doubted the price (usually $2000 and up) and Amazon is listed as an UNAUTHORIZED dealer. Which means the flute you get won’t be covered on any warranty.

Is the flute new? Is it a black thick case? It only says black plastic, and I am bit lost. Can you display a photo of the case?

Yes the flute is brand new. I bought one for a student and it is excellent. The case is very thick and there is a velvet lining inside to protect the flute. It is not a plastic that you would think of. I can't really describe it, but it is extremely sturdy. Let's put it this way, I have been a flutist for 31 years and I have dropped the cases many, many times and the wasn't even a scratch in the case and the flute was fine. Hope this helps.

I saw some customers here say the flute is made in usa. but mine is made in china(crafted in body). is there anyone else has made in china flute?

My 2sp was made in USA in 1994. My gemeinhardt 3OSB was made in China I guess around 2013. The NG1 head joint that came with my 3OSB is made in USA. They have some operations in both countries. But 2sp is now made in china.
