Amazing radio on a budget
I bought this radio to hold me over until I could afford the 500$ kenwood one I was looking at that had wireless CarPlay. Wasn’t expecting much from this thing but boy was I surprised. Everything on it works great including wireless CarPlay. When I first installed it the screen looked like it was low quality it was very colorless but scrolling through the settings I found there’s a saturation slider and when I put that up and contrast up it looks just as good as the kenwood radio screen. Only complaints I have are that the included mic doesn’t work and that there was no screws to mount the brackets but I just stole some from a different head unit I had laying around. Overall very impressed with this radio and I will be recommending it to my friends. Just make sure you order a decent mic to plug into it before you install it because now I have to pull it back out

This put's the B in Bang for your Buck!
I never leave reviews NEVER! But I am so happy with this product that I had to!I am giving this 4 stars because there are some features lacking compared to higher price models but honestly, I could care less! First off I did have some troubles with CarPlay off the bat and phone calls. I was able to solve those problems by not having the phone paired to the stereo via bluetooth and just using CarPlay. The tech support is very good about responding to your emails and trying to figure out the problem.I highly recommend this stereo to anyone! For the price you can't beat it! CarPlay is very snappy and works great, that was the only reason why I bought this stereo. Bluetooth connects quickly and works well, like I said earlier I unpaired my phone to stop the phone call issues with CarPlay, but when I did use it, it worked well. I installed a backup camera along with it and that works well. When the camera is on you can't adjust the volume of music, they have a feature to mute the music when you go into reverse, which works as advertised. My wife isn't super impressed by call quality, I replaced the provided mic with another model that seemed to help volume issues, but she still says its not as good as it was. I can tell you that on my end her voice sounds like she is unable to breathe through her nose, but I can still hear her and she can still hear me. Thats all I care about! The EQ presets suck, however you can manually set it up so I am ok with that as well. At the end of the day, this does it's job pretty well. For the price it's a no brainer!PS. if your CarPlay doesn't look like my picture it's because your IOS on your phone is updated to IOS 13, that comes out fully in September.

Not recommended.
Cool idea….but it showed up with a pushed in screen, am inoperable front-right channel, useless external mic, Chinese menus, and no response from their support email. Will leave this here for a bit to see if this gets a response from them. Don’t recommend this for now.UPDATED : I figured my unit may be faulty, so Amazon sent me an exchange unit. Same issues. I did figure out my right-side speakers weren't working was not a fault of the unit so disregard that. The second unit did still suffer from the Mic not working (it was ULTRA quiet) even after adjusting all settings, even the ones written in Chinese (which are gain control and echo control). I did finally hear from their support team e-mail, outside of Amazon, to which they suggested I swap out a resistor on the main board. They asked if I was an engineer! Now, I can solder things no problem - lucky for them, but this was very small SMD and would require a SMD soldering rig, i.e. Macro camera, tiny gun, tools, etc. No can do. I was then promised a 3rd unit directly from them that should have an "updated circuit" to resolve this issue. Well, this finally showed up (we're a few months in at this point) and it is a smidgen better, microphone-wise. I also had to position the mic DIRECTLY above my head. But I do still have to raise my voice significantly to have a phone convo, so good for when in a pinch but not very comfortable. Oh, the 3rd "latest" unit had a damaged LCD screen. Half of it was washed out.I must say my original goal for this head unit was phone calls, but then I saw units that can do that PLUS apple car play, so I thought why not? Well, for car play - it does work. Just make sure you don't turn the unit off and on a few times (you know, to roll up the windows or roll them down, etc) as it will NOT connect to your phone with car play unless you power it down for 5-10 minutes. No idea why. Tried everything, re-pairing, etc. It pairs fine, sees the phone, but car play will NOT work unless you allow the unit to stay off for several minutes. It's a very dumb unit w/out car play so basically you will have nothing unless you go through with this. One cheat worked : while driving and if it's stuck in this state, hold down the power knob and have it shut off. Keep driving and about 5-10m later, it will just magically turn back on and carplay will be working. Super strange. Also beware, I was given firmware to "try" but it did not work. It detects the file on the USB drive but reboots and nothing, black screen. What attracted me to this unit : wireless carplay, extended microphone, and having an actual volume knob instead of buttons. Maybe sit this one out and wait for the next iteration.

Really good for the price. Pleasantly surprised
Took a chance getting this off brand unit. In the past I've bought Pioneer, Kenwood, and Alpine. My GF wanted carplay in her old Toyota Tacoma. I found this and took a chance.I'm absolutely shocked at how well this thing works. The carplay UI is decently fast. Volume on navigation vs. music is great. Equalizer allows you to dial in a good sound even on crap stock speaker. The physical volume knob is a luxury these days for some reason, and this one works well. The cherry on top is WIRELESS carplay. That's a feature you only find in high end head units or expensive cars now.If there were ANY negatives, I'd say that when skipping songs there is a delay before it registers. That' is a very minor complaint. Carplay refuses to work via the USB port off the back of the unit, but that doesn't affect us, as we use wireless carplay in her truck now. When I do have to hardwire a phone, the USB port on the front works just fine.I'd buy this again if I had more cars to install it in. Great unit for being a no-name brand I've never heard of.
