The blanket is decent for the price. However a main feature I was looking for was the extra loops for adding a duvet cover that could easily be cleaned. The posting clearly mentions 8 loops for a duvet cover but the twin size we ordered only came with 4 loops, one on each corner. I even made sure I ordered a cover with 8 loops so I'm kind of disappointed about this. My daughter is excited to start using it so I will probably just have to add my own loops somehow.

The tiny glass beads are sandwiched between multiple layers of polyester batting making the blanket very soft to the touch. There is almost no shifting of the tiny glass beads nestled inside the 4 inch squares. I can find absolutely no cons except it doesn't come with a removable duvet cover.My only suggestion would be that the blanket came with a removable duvet cover for the blanket. What would really be nice is if the cover was made of a minky fabric with different color and or pattern selections.This blanket is not only the perfect size for a child but also perfect for an adult like myself whom is disabled and spends most of my time i n a recliner, it would also be perfect for someone in a wheelchair or actually for anyone, it would be perfect for an afternoon nap.A top of the line high quality very well made blanket, the small size makes it easy to travel. Everyone needs a Hug from a Laveder weighted blanket.

This weighted blanket has been perfect for my 75 pound HFA ASD son. He asks to be tucked in with it every night. I cannot attest to it being calming or promoting sleep for definite but for him to come and request something specific so consistently tells me it was just what he needed. I’m thinking about getting a second one for myself!

My 8 yr old nephew loves it! He had a hard time getting to sleep and relaxing. He sleeps with it every night, and has told me a few times how greatful he is that I ordered this for him. My son and I each have one ourselves, so I know weighted blankets work for us.

Perfect weight for my 8 year old.

My 10 year old son has ADD and takes medication. He has had trouble sleeping. He may take a long time to go to sleep or will wake up in the middle of the night and can't go back to sleep. This has been a huge help to him. He is warm, but not sweating underneath it.
