Quick, easy, cheap, sterile
My 4 year old has been asking for earrings for weeks. I made an appointment at a local store but the starter kit was upwards of 30$!! For 6.50 dad and I were able to Irrne her ears at home without driving across town. The tool was sealed and sterile and super easy to use. Daughter is sooooo happy with her earrings!

Cheap, painless, and effective!
I was a little concerned that the low price belied a subpar item, but these piercers are extremely effective! I had someone do it for me to make sure they went in straight, and the most pain I felt was a pinch. I did not have any issues the piercing or the earrings themselves. Absolutely worth it for someone looking for a sterile, cheap first time piercing---or not first time!

So far so good (2nd hole)
I am not a doctor!Ok, so first I'll say the positive:Wow! Seriously, I lined them up to my mark, tightened it just enough that it was putting pressure on my ear mark, braced myself, and then just squeezed super hard and fast. I felt NOTHING! I seriously thought I broke it the first time I did it, because the piece holding the earring just popped off and I couldn't feel that it went through my ear. Those earring guns in stores have always hurt me - with this I felt nothing. I'm impressed!I'm not positive these are as thick as the earring posts you get when you go to the stores (like Claire's in the mall) and that might account for less pain - but for me that is not a downer, because regular earrings don't usually have thick studs, and being a second earring hole for me I don't intend to put much more than small studs in them. The negative:The earrings themselves are kinda big for starter earrings. I would prefer the studs be smaller mm (I got the round white crystal ones). However, if these earrings hold up, I'll always be able to use them in my first earring holes later... otherwise, I'm expecting them to be "throw-aways." I have no attachment to these cheap studs, because I already own high quality ones. I mean, c'mon, 6 bucks lol.My advice: take out the earring backs and put them aside in the packaging before you do it. If you leave them in the gun there's a chance they might not align properly and then it might not be as smooth a process as it was for me. I noticed on one gun the post was at a slight angle and had I left the backing in, they would not have lined up with the earring backing hole. Once the gun has put the earring in, then put alcohol on the backs before putting them on the studs. I keep my rubbing alcohol in a small 5oz spray bottle, so it's always fast and convenient to just spray whatever needs alcohol that way, whether it's directly on a wound, tool that needs sterilizing (tweezers, needles, etc), my toilet handle, or a cotton ball, and so on.Also, I first washed my hands and also sprayed my hands with alcohol before using the earring gun AND gave the earring gun itself a spray or two before doing it.After effect: they don't hurt or throb. But occasionally I spray the fronts and backs with alcohol and wiggle them a bit to get the alcohol on the wound and that stings for a very brief moment (seconds). As far as laying down, they definitely are sore when laying down. I think how you lay and how soft your pillow is will make a difference on comfort level - and if you're really sensitive to pain, I recommend doing one ear, letting it heal so it's no longer sore, then doing the second (that way if you're a side-sleeper you always have one side you can lay on without discomfort) - but compared to when I've got them professionally done, it's actually less pain with this process. No wonder stores/piercing businesses try to tell you not to use these single-use guns lol. They want you to pay. If they hurt too much a day or two after you do it, you might be getting an infection, so be sure to use warm water with mild soap and clean them a few times a day. Pat dry them well after each wash with fresh towel (like paper towel). Alcohol is good, too.... professionals try to tell you not to use alcohol cause "it causes scarring," but I have yet to have any aesthetic issues using alcohol with 4 ear pearcings and a lip ring. Again, they want to sell you cleaners lol.I also got their nose-ring gun... but I started to do it, slowly pressed enough to bore a little hole part of the way (enough to very lightly bleed like a pimple lol... barely any bleeding) but then it started to hurt and I could just not bring myself to do it. Ugh. I'm a chicken. I want to do it so bad, but I might need to get a friend to do it for me... one that would take pleasure in hurting me hahahaha (or else they might be too scared to do it quickly).Anyway, I hope this helps! If I have any problems arise I will update this review.

Easy to use and quick so hardly no pain
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my step son. He never had his ears pierced and wanted them done. I surprised him with this. I'll be honest I have never used one and when I was holding it to push it, I was scared i was going to hurt him lol. My fiance said it was easy to use and my step son said it didn't hurt bad at all. His ears looks great and the jewelry didn't brake him out at all.

WONDERFUL
I read so many horror reviews on other sellers saying their jewelry was fake and the ears got infected. NOT THESE ONES! I’ve purchased fromThis seller twice! It’s been months and my son’s ears never even went pink! Very easy to use, just line up and push. This is a seller you can trust

Worth the safety
After having a jewelry store tell me they charge $80 for piercings, my broke butt decided to go with a cheaper option and do it myself. I saw a YouTube video about using a safety pin and was scared just thinking of it. These are small but they make it quick and easy. I used some of the tips from the YouTube video but instead of the safety pin I used these. My friend did the safety pin and ended up with infected ears. These made the piercing quick and almost pain free (only pain that came was when the numbing went away and it was just a dull pain, nothing too crazy)
