It was my intention to use this product to create instructional videos. The ONLY supporting software for this device was CamShop and it is fairly easy to use and navigate, however, this device is set to continuously autofocus. When I say continuously I mean every other second it focuses in and out. Watching videos created on this device gives you a dizzy headache. I was hoping to see if I could get adobe to recognize it but that was a bust also. When contacting the seller, the only compensation provided was "technician states that the autofocus feature was a decision made as an internal feature and could not help" "would you like $10 back for your trouble" DON'T BUY THIS GARBAGE I buy on Amazon a lot and this is the FIRST time I have ever had such a horrible experience. If all you intend to do is scan to create pdfs be careful their too...that is a whole different pile of garbage full of grainy outcomes no matter which settings you apply. $10!!! That's a 6.66% refund people!! JUST DISGUSTED

it didn't work well with my pc as it was too slow to handle the doc cam. when i asked for a return the company quickly responded. They processed the return promptly. overall the product seemed fine.

This product is ok but then capability's as stated for product are deceptive when you are searching for a product to buy. The software that comes with this OCR scanner which is on a USB drive limits you to 8 mega pixels. I am running this on a Windows 10 machine with 4 gigabytes of memory. If you are running PCMATIC for security you will have to turn off SUPER SHIELD then install the OCR scanner software then turn SUPER SHIELD back on. The OCR software is so so I recommend buy other OCR SOFTWARE.

This scanner is very easy to use. I didn't need to read any instructions. It does a variety of page formats, including Word, text, PDFs, PDF searchable, etc. It does OCR (Optical Character Recognition) quite well. It can zoom in on part of a page. You can set the scan region. It has a setting for different languages. I do family history, so that is important feature for me. It does not do well on glossy paper and glossy photos, though. That is why I rated it with four stars. I found another way to do that, so it is not a deal killer for me. I like its portability and ease of use.

photo quality is not as expected and the software is not very modern

The software is easy to use, but scanning quality is horrible. I bought this for scanning a lot of documents, poor results. Even with 4 LED lights, it is also dark, not 12MP as described.

I bought this document camera for my classroom. Unfortunately, it has very a very poor display quality. It is very blurry. I tried to enhance my picture, and that just made it worse. I am unsure where you could use this, but it’s definitely not in a classroom.

The product is nicely designed but extremely confusing and complicated to install. No CD comes with it. We had to look on past reviews to get the driver information to install it but in the end the product had a grey haze over the image we could not figure out how to clear up. We returned it as we were not sure if this was a product defect or result of being unable to figure out how to modify the resolution. We had professional IT persons working on this and they could not get it to work.
