I have used sever different brands of braided line from name brand to bargain bin. Not anymore after trying out this line. I have added this line to my favorite's list on Amazon. (considered swapping out the rope on my anchor for this line) Kidding. But that is just a testament to how great this line is. My first time using it was on an unfished to me pond. The first cast I reeled in a large heavy branch. This line did not give in. No stretch or fray or break. I got home that night and ordered another spool. This line is now my go to for braided line.

I bought Godline #30 after buying the #50 & #15 and I've been happy with all of them. I've put this on a baitcaster and the casting is great and so far the strength has showed great. I bought in plenty nice fish and the sensitivity is good. The color may have a slight bleed, but no different than some of the others. I will continue to use as long as it doing the job or if I run into something else that proves different.The reason I bought Godline is because I had the #15 on my spinning reel fishing is the Inlet and hooked a 6lbs bluefish and when I put the pressure on him, I reeled him in with power and the line held him good. That made me buy more and continue to use it. I'm a fan!

I fish A LOT and Godline is all I really use anymore. It's great line - doesn't stretch and has a high tensile strength. That's really important to me as I hunt predatory species such as large mouth bass, northern pike and muskies. This braid never lets me down and it performs as good and costs less then other braided lines. Twenty pound test is the lowest I am willing to go for predatory species.

I can personally say i will never use another fishing line than from FIshingsir. The X8 is incomparable to many other fishing lines. Its made up of 8 different strands and is super strong! With my hands I could not break this line. Its very small in diameter so you can fit a lot of line on one reel. The only thing I see that could potentially be an issue with this line is that there is a slight vibration at the tip of the rod when reeling it in. BUT even after that it does not compromise the durability of the line.

This line is so thin 300yds wasn't enough to spool my reel hahaha. I guess this is both a pro and a con, I can tell this is excellent quality line. WAY better than the kastking.

I put the Godline X8 #20 test on my new Aegir baitcaster and I couldn't be happier. The line and reel feel and cast like they are made for each other. Line is smooth, tough, abrasion resistant and casts like silk! excellent line that I highly recommend!

20 lb. test broke very easily-more like 10 lb. test line.

very thin and strong enough, I caught 2 big carps with it the second day I replaced with this line.
