Michigan 100% Waterproof Nylon Hip Waders Sizes 6 - 12 for Fly/Coarse Fishing

purchased these, because of the price, ordered size 10 (UK) so the boot part fits well, however the height of the boots are appx 37 inches on both the outside and inside leg, I only require 29 inch inside leg, so a bit too long in the leg for me, the wellington boot height is appx 14 inches. As mentioned in other reviews the width of the top of the waders (thigh) is a bit tight if you have large thighs. Also the ankle part of the boot is quite flexible so not sure if you could walk great distances over very rough ground. Having said all this if like me you are looking for a good price waders for say power washing you patio/driveway or retrieving a model boat or pond cleaning then these are probably just right for you. Another thing to mention they are made of waterproof nylon and therefore will not be breathable and will probably lead to a build up of sweat on the insides, I was aware of this before purchasing. For me these will suffice for the 2-3 times this year that they will be required, when I need to give the patio/driveway a good clean. I have also not managed to locate the manufactures website to try and find any instructions on care/maintenance, did contact retailer but only suggestion they could give was to search for any suggestions on "nylon waterproof cleaning"

Fine for what we wanted them for (occasional pond use) but the legs themselves are quite long for my 5 ft 8 height and unless I'm wearing leggings, the top of the waders is too narrow. - Occasional use when I'm wearing jeans or jogging bottoms make the tops end up a good 3 inches from where they should be :-( Would have preferred them to be about 3 inches shorter and 3 inches wider at the top to save me having to change clothing when I need to wear them. Foot size (size 8) was more than adequate with a pair of decent socks

Read comments about size of thighs on the waders, so ordered a shoe-size larger to ease "slipping-on". Foot size is fine and easy to put on (so that worked!), and waders go over my thighs with no problem and feel comfortable. Used already to get into our pond for getting rid of duck-week etc. ... completely waterproof, and sole gave good grip. Can thoroughly recommend ... especially for the price!

A bit smaller than expected and the upper fabric is really long and needs cutting down. Plus if you are short and chunky like me they are tight at top of leg. Luckily I am a seamstress so altering the fabric is a pretty simple task. Would have been better if they were wider in the leg section as we are not all super model thin. I’ve given four stars because they are water tight and well made. The boot fit is smaller than expected I am a size six but based on other reviews I bought a bigger size and I am glad I did.

Like other reviewers, I found there was little on offer in reasonably priced women's waders for pond maintenance. I'm 5'2" and wear size 6 shoes, so these seemed to fit the bill. It's a generous 6, but OK with thick socks. The legs are too long for my height, but this caused no encumbrance. My main concern was waterproofing and I did not detect any leaks during the 2 hours' use they've had so far. The waders had a strong smell, which I found unpleasant, but that seems to be wearing off gradually. All in all, for a product that will only see 6-8 hours use per year, I think this is good value and would recommend it.

I liked the fact that the waders are of a very light material, fully waterproof as expected. However if you are like me and have big thighs then they will be too small. For me just using them for cleaning out my pond they work but for fishing then no. Pity it would help if they put the top circumference of the waders in the sale details.

Chose the smallest size (6) for my 3.5 feet - thought they'd be far too big & cumbersome but they're actually very neat & more like a 4 - great! Excellent quality - quite 'heavy duty' & ideal for planting & trimming/cleaning the shallow end of our 24ft pond. Thoroughly recommend, especially for the ladies!

Excellent product at a good price. I still managed to step too deeply and got them filled with water! But that was my fault. I should have purchased a full size trouser version!
