BEWARE! NOT CMR rated cable
The description of this cable says it is "Fire Retardant CMR" cable. It is not. It is standard CM cable intended for light household use. Cable must be CMR rated if it is going inside a wall due to fire codes in most places. I specifically ordered this cable because the seller indicated it was CMR rated. I notified the seller of the error and he argued that it was CMR rated. I had to send him a picture of the cabling (see attached) that clearly shows that it is CM rated and he backed down. He did say I could return it which is why I gave him at least a 2 but I see he still has not changed his description.

IT DIDN'T WORK
My cable repair man told me to order this type of cord (RG-11). I wanted a longer cord for my router. Well it didn't work. We took it off, put it back on... Each end... Just in case it was screwed on wrong. Nope... No signal. We had to go back to the short cord. So I place a return request... And I read the "fine print"... I get to pay to send back my defective item PLUS a 20% restocking fee. So I'm just going to throw it away. Sometimes, you should just suck it up and go to Walmart. At least I could have returned it there

Would NOT recommend this cable
I ordered this to replace 2 cables I had connected together to run the 20ft in my home office. I though 1 complete cable would provide a strong signal for my Xfinity cable modem hookup. I installed it and right away the signal went in and out as people in the house had connection issues, I quickly reverted to the old cable and issues were solved.I emailed PHAT for help and a solution, and the informed me: "RG11 plenum are design and made to run inside a plenum ducting. You did not apply the cable to a correct usage, and therefore will result with issues"-literally, that was the email reply, one sentence. Well, I'll be, you need to have it run through Plenum ducting!!!So I decided to return the cable for a refund, but PHAT has a massive terms and conditions page about returns, contact them, restocking fee, shipping reverse fee, etc...Here's the Amazon Summary: Item Refund: $14.50 Item Tax Refund: $1.16 Restocking Fee Refund Deduction: ($7.25)We'll apply your refund to the following payment method(s):Visa Credit Card: $8.41What a rip off, I don't think any other company has done this on Amazon before, If items do not work or are defective, it's usually send it back for a full refund (good customer service-I might buy from you in future). For the above reason I would not recommend these guys, I ended up going somewhere else and got a better price and better product.

Destroyed At The Factory...
I returned this item because I realized that 150 ft of RG6 has a fair amount of signal loss, and I wanted to switch to the larger, less lossy RG11 instead. I just received notification from Amazon that I was charged a $18.75 re-stocking fee on this $37.50 purchase! Then, I did some digging on Amphenal's (the U.S.-based cable manufacturer) site and found out that Phat Satellite is exceeding Amphenal's specification for minimum bend radius by quite a bit on these cables when they coil them for shipping. They're winding them way too tightly so they'll fit into smaller packages. This ruins the electrical integrity of the coax. And, the larger replacement RG11 coax that I ordered was wound just as tightly, which is even worse as the thicker the cable, the larger the minimum bend radius is. The spec is 4" on RG11 and it's wound at about 1.25" at the center of the coil. The cable is ruined even before you get to use it.

Using SOLID COPPER WIRE Coax Cable is MUCH BETTER
I read in reviews to use Solid Copper Wire Coax Cable for Antennas, vs the regular Coax Cable available almost everywhere, which is only wiring sprayed with a Copper Coating. So, for just a couple bucks more I bought this. It says it's what's used by Directv & Satellite companies. While my reception still isn't perfect (location in sort of a valley & there is interference from nearby municipal airport & major construction for other channels coming from Dallas area), it IS MUCH MUCH better. I had to change out my old antenna & tried the Coax Cable on the new antenna with same result of reception as old antenna. Then I hooked new antenna up to THIS Solid Copper Cable & was very pleased. Reception was better & have actually been able to get some Dallas area channels in the middle of the afternoon I've not been able to get before. Is worth the couple extra dollars. I ordered the 75' thinking it was enough, only to realize I needed another 20'. So I ordered the 25' & hooked them together with an actual connector listed as being for HD TV. Worked great.

Poor quality control - a waste of time and money!
I bought two lengths for my RV's Dish antenna, stored 6 hours away. I thought I'd get the best cable available to replace old, thin, twisted RG cable that was way too long for the run to dome antenna and hard to store. The longer (40') never allowed the Dish receiver to fully connect, even when I ran directly from receiver out the door to my antenna. The short (25') length worked fine, as did my old 100' cable I was attempting to replace. After a dozen attempts with slight tweaks, I gave up. Since my RV is so far away, it was over 30 days from the time of purchase until I sent the seller a message, asking for guidance in how to exchange the defective cable. He just said it was past 30 days and that was that! My company has a video installation division and they don't even worry about charging maintenance costs on cabling, feeling that it "never" goes bad. Well, it does if it isn't made properly! How many things has anyone purchased that only provide a 30 day warranty? This place doesn't check each length sold (at premium price) and doesn't provide a "warranty" beyond the 30-day return window. I'd hate to tell our video crew they would have to test each and every product within 30 days even if it would normally go on a shelf until a job required it. Junk, and terrible customer service!!

Good cable from a good brand!
Bought the tri-shield white, it is a good cable, Amphenol told me it is:Amphenol Times Fiber type T6TSFx77-LTV (CATV) WHITE/DBS 3.0GHz, It is a tri-shield 77%, quickprep, ShieldX.It has Moisture Inhibiting Lifetime gel but this is not considered an underground cable. Burial cable is made with a PE jacket. This cable has a PVC jacket. .This is an indoor rated cable with a flame retardant PVC jacket. Also, it is a US flame rated cable. The flame rating approved and typically used in Canada is CMG. This is a CATV flame rating which is typically used in the US.Anyway, a great cable for outside/attic, same as used by ISP/Cable TV providers.

Should give it 4 stars but can't help myself.
I wanted to give 4 stars really, because I'm not a cable expert therefore I have no basis for comparison to give a scientifically accurate rating. However I know materials, center core was definitely copper. Shield seemed good too, I found it hard to peel back to do the terminations which means the layers must be dense although I don't know it that's unusual. I also know that doing the final run of wire using this wire vs. the temporary run of copper coated steel double shield I had lying around - I managed to pick up another 4 channels from my tv antenna so the wire likely lives up to the claimed specifications. My research told me over long lengths, copper core was the way to go - this cable proved my research was worth it.

Seems like a good quality cable with excellent customer service
I was sent the wrong cable initially. I contacted the seller and they sent me the correct cable right away so the customer service was excellent. The cable itself seems to be good quality. It's doing what I need perfectly.Only reason I gave four stars is because I was sent the wrong cable at first and without 2 day shipping my project had to be postponed approximately one week. When I received the first cable I ordered, the weather was beautiful, but when I received the second one, it was quite a. It colder

Excellent!
Great quality cable. If you need to cut it to make smaller cables, make sure that you get EX6XLPLUS ends. These are made for this type of cable. There are several good tutorials on YouTube that show you how to crimp the ends on and set up the cable cutter. Correct setting of the cutter is really the secret to getting the ends on perfectly. I got 200 feet of quad shield. This should be enough but if I need more, I will definately be ordering this.

Black tri-shield RG-6
I used this cable to connect a satellite dish. It is quite flexible even in near freezing temperatureand has low loss. I would order it again.
