Over a year of use, Would Definitely Recommend.
I bought this on November 11, 2016. Before purchasing this we went through 3-4 long leashes a year. We used to buy the wire leashes with the plastic coating. Our dog would inevitably get stuck on the same post or something and wear through the rubber, and quickly after the wire was rendered useless. These rubber/wire types of leashes broke far more often in the winter. Simple knots or twists would break the plastic in the cold. After the rubber broke, one bunny rabbit or stray cat and our 15-20lb pomeranian would bust the wire easily. This leash has held up a heck of a lot better. It's starting now to show signs of wear after over a year of use but I still imagine we'll get quite a bit of use out of it. It was tied to a wooden deck post for a year where it's suffered minimal damage. A few threads lost but still very sturdy. Close to his neck it's also lost a few threads. He's very furry and when he wants inside he spins in small circles by the door. These damaged threads have gotten stuck in his fur a few times due to his spinning. But this hadn't happened until after a year. When my sister would visit with her 60lb dog she also used this leash. Never had an issue. Bottom line, would recommend and worth every penny. I've never been concerned this leash wouldn't hold while I've left my dog unattended for a potty break.

The best tie out I have ever used!
This is by far the best tie out I've ever used! It says it's for large dogs, but I have used it for my 32 lb beagle for 2 1/2 years, and I just bought it again for my new pug puppy who is only 8 lbs so far. It is so lightweight, yet sturdy enough for larger dogs, but it's perfect for little ones too. I used to use the wire tie out but it would Frey a break.

great ties, seller- not so.
giving 3 starts for service- sucks- took them 1 week to ship and i cancelled the order, but once i did it, they shipped it that day....we were leaving in 2 days and i thought i will have nothing to take with us.product itself is 5*, very good, i use 3 ties for my 3 German Shepherds.Ties travelled through many RV places for the whole month we travelled, were 'stretched for durability test few times for other dogs and rabbits, - nothing happened, going strong. good product.

Great outdoor dog lead and can be used indoors as well.
What I really like about this is the flexibility of the line. Doesn't hurt as much as cables if dog charges and catches you - and it's very lightweight for the dog. Dog COULD chew threw it, so would not leave dog unattended on it, but is also great line to use indoors when training puppies and need to contain to one room. Easy to throw in car with yard stake and travel. Could make one but would spend about same amount of money. They also can stay out int he winter and do quite well. Cables tend to get brittle and split then wires rust. I prefer these and have used them for years.

I have high hopes for this to last longer than ...
I have high hopes for this to last longer than our wire ropes that we have been buying. Our dog just keeps breaking the wire rope ones, she gets them kinked and then they rust and eventually she can pull them apart. She did chew on this one but so far it hasn't shown much damage.EDIT: I changed my review to 5 stars. This tie out has been great, she did get off one time but that just had to be luck on her part. The only part that has any damage on the tie out is where she chewed on it, but it hasn't gotten any worse. This one tie out has lasted longer than almost 3 of the coated wire kind.EDIT 2: Almost had this thing 4 years and our dog was constantly tied to it during the day. It finally broke but that was because of my error, I burned a stump next to her tie out location and she got the tie out in the smoldering stump and it burned in two.

A little cheap, but ...
I mean, it is pretty cheap, so what did I expect? Not too much. It's perfectly functional. I have noticed the clasp gets stuck pretty easily.

This tie out is still holding up good and the best part is that I am not ...
I was adopted by a dog, she was skinny but tall and acted all puppy. To keep her from running off and getting hit by a car I installed a tree system so that she could cover some ground and not be stuck in the same 15 ft circle. I used to use a cable tie out for this dog. After going through 2 cable tie outs in about a month I started looking for something different. The dog was 75 lbs and 28" tall from the paw to top of the shoulders when I took it to the vet after it showed up. This dog loves to pull, both of the cable ties that I used have been stretched and the coating has come off. This tie out is still holding up good and the best part is that I am not worried that the dog is going to get cut by the cable. It is flexible and is definitely more comfortable if the dog runs around me and tangles me up. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that has a dog that loves to pull. If this dog ever wears out the tie I will be replacing it with the same product.

Better than a cable
Don't buy if you think your dog will chew through it but otherwise this is a better alternative to cable. Cable will rust and eventually break. I like the lightweight ploy alternative. Much stronger than needed for my small dog but also because it is lightweight it works perfectly for her.
