I spend a long time looking at headphone reviews and buyer videos trying to settle on the right pair, and I was lucky enough to have a wife who treated me for my birthday and bought me a pair of Sennheiser Momentum 2.0. Love the headphones but quickly realised that they do not pair wirelessly with my PS4 Pro which was a bit of a disappointment. I read up on this USB adapter and decided to give it a go. The setup was incredibly simple: 1) Plug the adapter into the PS4 (it will automatically identify and switch the audio output to the adapter). 2) Put the headphones into pairing mode. 3) Wait for the headphones and adapter to pair (took about 3 seconds). I can now enjoy the freedom of wireless headphones whilst gaming and watching videos, Netflix, Prime etc. There is no sound lag that I can tell and all the functionality of the headphones (noise cancellation, easy volume adjust) works perfectly. No issues whatsoever. If I want the TV to by the primary output channel I can easily switch this back in the PS4 menu. Best adapter I've ever purchased and far, far better than having to shell out for a separate set of cans for my PS4. Would heartily and unconditionally recommend.

Purchased this as I had a requirement to connect my Jabra t65's to my PC for conference calls. A standard Bluetooth dongle cannot handle the bi-directional requirements for communication (sound + microphone) as I found the connection would frequently drop or others would intermittently not hear me/bad quality. The connection would also suffer from some serious latency (lag) issues. The Aventree Leaf solves this issue perfectly. I'm using Windows 10 - just plugged in the dongle, and it automatically installed the drivers. The thing to remember is that the PC will see the dongle as a Sound Device and not a Bluetooth device, so connecting other Bluetooth devices to the dongle are done 'blind'. It's very simple though, just put your headset/device in pair mode, hold down the button on the dongle, and they will pair. I've only needed to do this once with my headset and it connects every time with no issues. I've also connected it to a Bluetooth speaker just fine, although it's worth mentioning that the dongle will only pair with one device at a time. The connection quality is great, and when you do need to communicate over your headset, you just push the button on the dongle to enter 'aptX Low Latency' mode for high quality communications with zero latency. I've not had a call drop out or anyone reporting they can't hear me since! The range is fantastic too. I live in a 5-level town house and I get connection in every room. I was a little hesitant at the £30 price tag, but it's worth every penny! As working from home has become the new normal, this piece of kit has been invaluable in keeping me connecting to my colleagues.

Works brilliantly as advertised - any OS that can configure a USB sound card can instantly stream Bluetooth audio or connect to Bluetooth headset for audio and microphone. However - and this is the reason I had to return it - it defaults to streaming-mode, if you want to connect using headset mode (which is what I needed) then you have to press the button on the stick. So every time I switched the computer on I had to press the button... unfortunately my computer is in a hard to reach place and not on a desk which made the thing useless for my purpose. A shame because it really is a great device and would work perfectly for 90% of people.

For those who prefer to listen to their movies, video games, series or videos on a device that does not natively recognize your headphones or does not have bluetooth, this is undoubtedly the solution to your problem. I have used this receiver for about 4 years and it has always complied with what was promised, one of its strongest points is the sound latency from the receiver since the sound delay is imperceptible "or in a few words it has no delay" which It has been used mostly for consoles such as Nintendo Switch, PS3, PS4, PS5, Xbox and PC and it has worked without problems in all of them, offering volume and sound quality. Its weak point could be said to be pairing the device with headphones or speakers, if you already had some paired with the USB when you turn it on, the USB will connect it automatically without entering pairing mode again. now when you need to place a device from 0, pairing both devices can be somewhat tedious and time consuming, disconnecting and reconnecting the usb and the device you want to connect to. Also you can't use the microphone of your headphones through the receiver, only the audio, so if you intend to use it for video calls or video games and you want to use the microphone that includes your headphones, unfortunately I have to say that the microphone does not work, only with headphones of the same brand as the receiver. In short, it does the job. 7/10.

I was looking for a simple DAC for my desktop setup. Then I thought to maybe 'go wireless', though I really wanted a sound coming out of USB and found this transmitter! Easy to connect. I've never got any connection issues. The sound quality is really great in my opinion! I paired it with Audioengine B1 bluetooth receiver, and from it to PS Audio Gain Cell DAC via Optical output to Adam Audio T8V monitors via XLR Mogami cables... The sound I hear even more pleasant (to me) than via MacBook Pro's Bluetooth (late 2017), or Galaxy S9+ or iPod touch. I am very surprised! Using it with my old PC with Windows 10. It might sound crazy, but often I even like this sound more than via direct USB output. It's just more rich and transparent, all the tiny details in sound are there. Who knows how it measures, maybe there are some distortions that might color the sound, but I love it! :D As for the volume, you can't control the volume on the device itself, and even on the computer as far as I understand. Only muting works. I used to control the volume via desktop speakers such as Bose Companion 20, before I got another pair of monitors. I don't know about PS4, but with my PC the volume level is identical to direct USB output (at least to my hearing). Also, it only supports 16bit/48kHz for obvious reasons. Bluetooth version 4.1. Didn't try the microphone yet. And didn't try to upgrade the firmware. I'm very happy with this transmitter! Thank you!

I recently bought some SteelSeries Arctis Pro (they come with their own adapter) and tested this vs the SteelSeries adapter. The first problem I encountered was the 2 modes, which are managed by a button on the side of the Avantree Transmitter - Call and Music. Music simply does not transmit the audio from the mic. Switching to call lets me use the microphone however the sound quality, especially when listening to Spotify, changes and makes things like music absolutely terrible to listen to (it does increase the call quality, however). Now on to the range. It was no where near as good as the SteelSeries adapter when it came to even matching the range in my house (a lot of walls - concrete, admittedly). Overall I was not impressed.

Upon doing a bit of research I found that Sony don't make their own high end headphones compatible with the PS4 which is kind of crazy, OK I get it , Sony want you to spend more money on a new set of Playstation branded headphones. Well I already own a decent set of headphones from Sony in the WH1000XM3, so why not try and get these to work with my PS4. So I purchased the Avantree Leaf USB Dongle from Amazon as I wanted to try wireless gaming on my PS4, it's a great little product that actually works within a few minutes of opening the box. The small strap that sits around the dongle is removeable as you need to remove it so it sits snug in the PS4 USB slot, then you only need to pair it with your headphones and adjust thesettings on your Playstation, it's a great little product with good sound quality, it even let's you use the microphone on the Sony headphones with a double click of the dongle button.

It is plugged into a USB port on my Win10 PC. I have 2 x Amazon Echo speakers, lets call them Hall (H) and Kitchen (K). I pair H to the Leaf and a speaker selection appears on the Win10 PC and I can then play music on H. I then pair K to the Leaf, no additional speaker selection appears on Win10, the one that previously appeared for H now plays music on K and I can no longer select H to play music. The support page confirms that the Leaf does not support the simultaneous pairing of more than one Bluetooth listening device. Maybe because it uses the default generic MSoft audio driver. There is another problem with this device when pairing an Echo. After pairing it works fine for music streaming. However, when you revert to normal Echo use, for example listening to BBC Radio, then the broadcast is cut after around 10 secs. This persists until the Leaf is removed physically from the Win10 PC. Considering the cost it's not the best buy for working with Echo devices. It reaches further than any other Bluetooth dongle I've experienced; paired with an Echo 25 ft away through two walls, but I'm tempted to return it.

Fait parfaitement le job. Pas besoin de paramétrer logiciellement quoi que ce soit (notamment l'appairage) : la clé s'occupe de tout. Vous la branchez simplement sur un port USB du PC (dans mon cas sous Windows Seven ou Windows X), les drivers s'installent automatiquement via l'OS. Une fois la petite minutes d'installation (automatique) initiale passée, vous pouvez appairer divers équipements audio via le bouton latéral de la clé USB. Dans mon cas, j'ai pu appairer et mémoriser simultanément 4 périphériques différents (mais peut-être plus encore) avec la clé USB (2 casques "In Hear" Bluedio S2, 1 casque "Over Hear" Cowin E7 et 1 HP amplifié Bose Soundlink 3). L'utilisation, elle, reste bien sûr individuelle : il faudra n'allumer qu'un appareil à la fois et le premier équipement audio allumé monopolisera la liaison. L'avantage est que quand un casque est déchargé, cela prend quelques secondes pour allumer un autre casque préalablement appairé qui prendra le relai. Les paramètres d'appairage étant propres à (et mémorisés par) la clé USB, il suffira de brancher la même clé sur un autre PC ou Laptop (mon cas) pour retrouver l'appairage avec mes casques effectué sur mon PC fixe. Idéal en déplacement. Pour les vidéos, il n'y a pas de retard du son par rapport à l'image (délai de traitement et de transmission du son nul), idéal pour les films. Un vrai "Aptx Low latency". Branché sur une rallonge USB et mis en hauteur, je continue à écouter ma musique dans plusieurs pièces de ma maison (> 10 mètres avec 2 cloisons légères). La notice en français, illustrée, est simple et claire. J'étais interrogatif pour les 30€, mais cette clé vaut son prix pour ses performances, sa polyvalence et sa simplicité. Possesseur de dongle classiques, "no name" compacts, la différence est flagrante !!!

Lo compre para conectar por bluetoth unos auriculares Bose Quiet confort 3 que me regalaron al PC y jugar al Warzone. No he notado nada de retardo en la comunicación de chat de voz ni de los sonidos del juego y tiene una calidad buenisima. Tiene un boton que pulsándolo vincula y una vez vinculado con doble pulsación activa o desactiva el micrófono, indicándolo con una luz blanca. Es perfecto. (También he probado con un altavoz Bose y con los AirPods de apple y perfecta la conexión tambien)

Funciona muy bien y se engancha rapidísimo a cualquier aparato, incluso a un altavoz xiaomi que sólo se me conecta con el móvil. Con la PS4 tienes que poner el cable porque sino conecta pero no sale sonido, con la PS4 apagada lo enchufas y enciendes la PS4 luego mantienes el botón del Avantree durante unos segundos para que busque y enciendes los auriculares bluetooth que tengas y se conectará en unos segundos, si tus auriculares tienen micrófono basta con pulsar 2 veces el botón del Avantree ,una vez conectado por bluetooth, para que también funcione. El Avantree También tiene efecto memoria y la próxima vez que vayas a conectar , en mi caso unos auriculares Philips , la conexión será más rápida pues ya reconoce los aparatos conectados anteriormente. La calidad del audio funciona sin lag y es de buena calidad. El Avantree Aptx Me a parecido un transmisor bluetooth muy bueno y con buen funcionamiento pero un poco caro. Sí me preguntan si volvería a comprarlo diría que sí.
