Good value two pack. I bought these to replace the more modern LED version which have not lasted. I realise these use more energy but being on a sensor they are not on for long. Also these have replacement bulbs and the case is made of metal rather than plastic like the LED one so the main part can be recycled at the end of their life rather than ending in landfill like the LED ones will probably end up doing

This works well once you have got it in place and set up correctly. It’s a bit fiddly to get it right though.This is the same as all the others of this type. You need to connect a long cable to it and then a socket, which can be a bit of work if you haven’t already got one setup before.I bought this as a replacement for an old one where the bulb had died, unfortunately because the screw that keeps the glass lid fixed in place had rusted together, and no way of getting it open without breaking it. So I got a new one of the same type to fit in exactly the same place.The problem, as with all of these type of lights, is that you have to fiddle with the three switches on the light itself. This isn’t easy when they are small and fiddly, and you’re up a ladder, you can’t really see what you’re doing! Then you have to wait for it to get dark to see if the settings that you have chosen are correct, if not, it’s up the ladder again to change the switches until you finally get it correct. This can take many attempts!Once you have got the switches in the correct place for the motion detection and lighting up time, then it works fine, and is nice and bright.I just hope that this one doesn’t rust together like my old one did!

Delivered the next day - very impressed. Only concern was that it was placed in a larger box, with no packaging round it - so it would have been bouncing around in the larger box. The actual units box was damaged a bit -so confirmed it had been thrown round during delivery.Fitted it the same day, and works fine - so no complaints there.Having installed quite a few of these over the years, I have to say "God save me from finicky sensor settings"! Timer, Lux & Sensitivity are never ever the same on any two units, and I spend more time fiddling with these, trying to set them just right. So, I reckon another few days (in the dark at the top of a ladder with a torch) I should have it working how I want. Is it only me who has this problem?Update: The sensitivity doesn't seem to be working too well, have spent three nights trying to set it correctly - but seems to go from one extreme to the other. Either comes on if a gnat flies past, or doesn't come on at all. Having second thoughts here.

it arrived with no bulb after three weeks trying to get the correct bulb I sent it back

I received the security floodlight and discovered lightbulb in package, missing. Then I read down the info " 400-500W: This security floodlight lamp does not include bulb". The picture in the advert shows a light bulb fitted. My bad for not reading the description properly.
