S-Video AV Cable [SNES/N64/GAMECUBE]

Does what it says.

It came package just in a plastic bag but the s-video and component came through fine on my usa original snes & hd tv. My original coaxial connector (RF Adaptor) caused snow in the picture but not this and it suppose to be plugged in one-way but you can plug it in backwards and it wont work then at all...so don't do it ^^.

This cable is great, especially on the N64. A+++

Lasted for a few weeks, then started having color issues. Got another cable from a local store and it has been working fine. Not worth the headache.

Works very well, is better than the basic snes cable, and can be used with multiple different systems. And it's cheap, so it's pretty neat all around.

The S-Video has diagonal lines when used with the SNES and N64.

Cable works. Seems flimsy...

I had heard online that these AV cables that have both S-Video and composite connectors are to be avoided, because some times the cable will output Composite-quality video over the S-Video connector. That is not the case with this cable. I tested both the S-Video and composite connectors on this cable with my N64 and Gamecube, and there is a noticeable uptick in clarity on the S-Video connector, as it should be. If you're looking to upgrade from the default composite cable on your console, this is a good cable to get.

Excelente cabo, o s video deixou o Nintendo 64 bem mais nítido e com as cores mais fiéis. Pelo menos uns 30% de melhora do cabo Av simples. Demorou 7 dias pra chegar no Brasil. Única coisa é que apesar do fio total ser bem grosso nas saídas coloridas os fios são bem finos. Tive que colocar com cuidado pra colocar porque parecem muito frágeis.

Updating this here review cause it turns out my SNES may have some bad capacitors. The GameCube works perfectly and I haven't tested it the n64's I own but they may work. So this product isn't too bad it will do what it can do. Don't expect RGB for signal here but it does work great with the retrotink 2x Pro.
