Great value 2nd hand.
Didn't want to pay full price as I don't actually know how much I'll use it. For £3.50 it was well worth the risk. Not used at all so a real bargain.

Very good q
Cover is incredibly vibrant and the quality is exceptional, the prompts are creative with a variety of different writing styles and tips to improve. Overall just a very good book for flash fiction or to develop story concepts that you may want to re-visit expanding in the future

Not quite what I was expecting as most of the book is blank pages for you to do your own creative writing. Useful 'briefs' though for our writing group but I was hoping for more a more instructional set up.

Expand your creative writing
Great book for a teenager. Bought this as a gift for a teenager who likes to do creative writing. Gives all sorts of suggested starter, scenes, and scenarios for them to develop their writing skills.

Mostly Blank Space
The author has put together a bunch of lame prompts that are mostly old ideas or unhelpful ones: "Imagine you are on a train when a murder takes place. Expand upon this scenario by writing a story of 500 words or fewer." That's it, two lines of a tiredly familiar prompt--and the rest of the page and the following are blank, for you to fill it in with your story! The whole book's like that--"Write a ghost or horror story based on a real event or location" (this is helpful?)-- including blank pages at the end for "Notes." Ironic that a book devoted to flash fiction and making every word count is so padded. Save your money.
