Love this toilet!
Recommend not putting tp in here so it doesn't stick in the bottom of the tank but there was no smell it was secure easy to empty and lasted me a months worth of pee. We had to number 2 once in it and that worked fine too. The flushing mechanism was great and has a water tank on top to wet flush as well as use the bidet which is just a spray nozzle. Recommend flushing with lid closed so you don't get splash back from the pressure. Best travel toilet worth every penny. I used this in my van and it didn't budge

Bought this for my camper
I have had a Coleman portable toilet in my camper for years pretty much only for overnight use, since we do have access to a bathhouse at the places where we camp. That said, there were times that this smaller capacity toilet will fill up and without any way of knowing how full it was, needless to say it was a disaster waiting to happen. Well, that happened one night when my DIL used it, flushed, and it overflowed. Well, that was the first and last time for that. I immediately started looking for a larger capacity portable toilet. This Alcour fit the bill and I could not be happier that it actually has a water-level indicator gauge so that you are able to know when/if dumping is required! Couldn't be happier with this purchase. I love, too, that it sits higher than the Coleman did, making is much easier to use.

Ideal for car camping
This toilet was perfect for my recent road trip. It never emitted an odor. It never leaked. It was easy to empty and clean out (although I never used it for poop, only urine). It stayed upright while driving and was very convenient while sleeping in my van.

This item is a very convenient life saver.
I give 4 stars because first, the small video that is on their website doesn't give explicit direction on how to actually operate this item. I'm a truck driver and this portable toilet comes in handy when I really need it. Now with that being said, I have come across a few issues with this portable toilet. When there is waste in the waste tank pressure builds up after a while and rounds out the bottom of the waste tank and the portable toilet will rock side to side until the pressure is released from the waste tank with the red button which is by the empty/full indicator or the portable toilet will tip over. There is also another issue with the handle that is pulled to allow waste to go to the waste tank. Once pressure builds up in the waste tank and the handle is pulled to relieve the pressure from the waste tank, waste fluid leaks from where the handle is located.Honestly, I'm not sure if the pressure build-up comes from the movement while I'm driving or that is something that happens most of the time.On the Alpcour website, it doesn't specify how long waste should be in the waste tank before it's to be emptied. So in all, the Alpcour portable toilet is a great thing to have and I would buy another one should the need ever arose.I would ask that Alpcour would give more helpful basic information on the use, how to operate the portable toilet, and the duration of when waste should be emptied from the waste tank.

Performed better than I could have hoped for
I used the toilet on a 3-day 72-mile trip down the Green River last week. We had 5 people on the trip. The flushing mechanism worked way better than I expected. No problems. The carrying bag was great. I just pulled the bag down below the valve when we set it up each evening. I carried the toilet in my canoe the whole trip. Absolutely no odor detected. I emptied it in a trailer dump station when we got back and rinsed it out with the hose they provided. That was simple and easy. I am very pleased.

Great value
OK - I haven't actually used this, but I live in the rural mountain Western US and often travel 900 miles with elderly parents with me. You never know when there will be a traffic stoppage due to weather or an accident. This portable toilet stowed in the trunk allows my parents peace of mind that if we do get into an uncomfortable situation at least they will not have the ultimate embarrassment. Comes with a nice storage case BUT can be set up and used very quickly. Perfect for what I needed.

Puts the G in Glamping
This toilet is easy to carry, easy to empty, easy to clean ( a BIG plus ) and easy to store. It works exactly as it is advertised to work. It’s comfortable to sit on. The lid goes up fully just like at home and the guys liked it too. I love that the instructions are on the lid so you don’t lose them.
