I’ve been using this Kobalt for years now and won’t be convinced to switch brands. My job entails daily use of both. The impact has 3 speed settings that are invaluable for my work. The 3rd setting is powerful enough for the toughest jobs, while the 1st setting is easy enough for my more fragile work. And the 2nd setting is perfect for general use. I use these for assembling bicycles, furniture, grills, gazebos/pergolas, shopping carts, exercise equipment, go karts/mini bikes, and more. The first drill I bought (from Lowe’s) would often loosen and drop the bit, which was a pain, but I haven’t had that issue with this set or the other one I have now. I think that one was just faulty, so if you run into that problem, I’m sure you can exchange it. I have zero complaints for this product.

A solid set of drill and driver at a fair price. Battery life is good and recharge time is fast.
