The black stand pairs nicely with my chalk Google Home Mini. The stand is substantially weighted metal with a silicone disk to the bottom - which adds to its stability and prevents surface scratches.The cord of the speaker slips down into the stand. The thick part of the cord where the cord attaches to the speaker provides security to prevent the speaker from being separated from the base if bumped.I appreciate being able to see the lights on the speaker when activated and having the sound aimed into the room rather that toward the ceiling.This stand, with its simple and no-nonsense design, easily earns its five star rating.

Love it. Now my Google mini is no longer balanced precariously on my monitor stand at work, and it doesn't send the sound straight up. Now it is in a stable position and points right at me, so I can actually listen at a lower volume without disturbing those in adjacent cubes (in our open office floorplan).On thing you'll probably want to do is pop open your Google Home app, select your speaker, and reverse the buttons. That's because when it's standing up with the cord pointing down (as it is in this stand), the default 'left' volume down button is actually located on the right. Using the reverse option makes it work as you expect by putting the volume down back to the left side while in this standOverall a perfect little Google home accessory. I'm actually getting another two for speakers I have at home.

I saw this when browsing Amazon's black friday deals and ordered on for each of my Google devices and I'm glad I did. I have one device on my night stand; using this stand created more space on my nigh stand since the width of the base is not as wide as the mini. The elevation of the device also seems to make it easier for the device to hear me from farther away. The sound also projects towards the room since sitting in the stand rather than projecting towards the ceiling.

I have acquiesed to pulling the speaker up off of the stand to turn on & off. The stand is cool but putting the speaker in on a regular basis can be challenging because of the angle. I am still satisfied with my purchase however if a similar stand cam along that gave access to the on / off switch I would consider.

We have been starting to get Google Mini's in our home, but found they were taking up some space on our countertops. After noticing holders on Amazon, I decided to give these little stands a try. I have two mini's that needed stands, on a living room end table and a bedroom night stand. Even though I have a charcol mini, I got black stands to better match the woodworrk.The stands arrived quickly and are heavier than what I expected with a non-scuff bottom. It was super easy to slip the mini in to the stand while it was still plugged in. I find that the mini hears better than when lying down and it takes less space on the counters. An excellent product!

Perfect stand for the Google Nest Mini (2nd gen) i got on super sale over the holiday while back.Wish i had gotten one sooner.Didn't need to "upgrade" to the normal Google Home inorder to get the sound to point forward, not up.U do have to press the Mini in to it a bit more than i expected though.Sturdy metal base. Very hard to knock over, (unlike the cheapo plastic ones i have tried that fall over if u blow on them)

Fits my Google Mini like it was made right with it. It's heavy and holds the mini even if it falls off a shelf (oops). Well made and textured so it has a nice aesthetic feel.

This is my first time purchasing a stand for the mini and I must say I am quite happy that I did. It is nice to be able to see the lights more clearly and the mini does seem to hear me better now. The stand is made out of metal and has a pad on the base to keep it stable (works well on my nightstand so far). Really hard to go wrong with this stand for the price. I will likely buy more for my other google home minis.
