Read update
These ride like the car is brand new from the factory. 2011 rav 4. Pleasantly surprised.Update: driver side quick strut making terrible noise which started 6 months after install. Clunk over bumps. Shop saying the strut is defective. Can’t order a replacement. Essentially out $147 plus labor.Update 2: there is a nut at the top of the strut that came loose somehow. Tightened it up and now they are riding great again but it is concerning that this part is now seemingly discontinued.

Amazing struts at the fraction of the price of OEM
I'd like to state that this review is for the sr4462 and sr4461, both are the same just this one is designed for the driver side while other for the passenger side. Now this is going to be a long review so if you want you can skip to the end for a short summary. On my 2009 RAV4 the front driver side strut was leaking and with 160,000 miles on them I decided to change the whole assembly to prevent my old parts wearing down my new ones. However after realizing that Toyota doesn't sell complete strut assemblies for my RAV4 and for the front struts to be OEM I would have to spend almost $800 on parts alone, not even including the increased labor cost to put the strut assembly together. So I went looking online for a good replacement and found that people really recommend KYB for Toyotas as they bring back the OEM feel and are well respected brand for Japanese cars, however KYB just recently created the sr4462 and sr4461 so I was a bit hesitant on purchasing but after seeing my options, MONROE or Gabriel I knew I had to bet on these struts trusting KYB would outperform both of those, and they sure did.Disclaimer, although I didn't buy them through Amazon as they were backordered until July I bought them off of ShockWarehouse, which were also backordered but only for 1 week and was able to get the struts within 3 days of them shipping it so if you're looking for these and they are not there then give them a try. After getting both front struts installed at my local mechanic for $180 the difference was immediate, and although one of the struts was leaking and bottoming out, the car felt so much more firm and planted on the ground than before, I don't remember how the car felt when new but after driving for some time these struts felt amazing, and honestly I cannot say anything bad about these struts other than I understand why some might not like a firm ride and for those people I would pass on these struts. I am not an expert by any means but after doing some research if you are looking for a less firm ride and one that is a bit softer then go with MONROE, they also offer a lifetime return so that might be something to look into, however that wasn't my case or interest so I went with these.I regret not taking many pictures before or during the install but here is just a glimpse of how they look and proof that these will fit a 2009 RAV4 2WD, so if you are on the fence just how I was don't worry as these struts will not disappoint you.Tl;dr: Amazing price to performance ratio for these strut assemblies and would highly recommend if you're looking for a firm/planted feeling ride.
