Awesome light for pets or people
The media could not be loaded. This is an excellent product, we’ve had lots of the cheaper dog lights that frequently need the batteries replaced and don’t put off much light, we’d go through almost one a month in the winter when the days are very short. At the pet store we saw this and we’re able to look it over; it was a few dollars cheaper on Amazon so we ordered it.It’s a nice big size, larger than most similar dog lights we’ve had but still very light weight, we put it on our dogs collar or harness at night and it doesn’t bother him at all. We like the color changing option that puts off lots of light and makes our dog very visible for cars and such. Attached is a video of our dog playing fetch at the park after dark, he’s quite far away and you can still see the light very well. We put it on him when we play fetch at the dog park so we can easily see where he’s at.We love the rechargeable feature so batteries never need to be replaced. I’ve only had to charge it once since we received it a few days before Christmas and we use it approximately an hour each day. So one additional charge since receiving has lasted us almost 4 weeks of daily use. It makes me feel safer walking my dog at night, we also have a rechargeable light up dog leash which makes it easy to see us.Would likely work well for people exercising in the dark, too. For less than $20 we will definitely get lots of use out of it. Easy to charge and turn on and off, good attached clip, etc. would recommend.I suppose it might be large on a very small dog; we have an 80 pound golden retriever so it’s perfect for us. It really doesn’t weigh much so I don’t understand the size complaints. It’s also water proof and we’ve gotten it wet in salt water with no issues. An awesome product for active dogs that you want to be visible at night. It doesn’t come with a charger, though I assume most people have a micro usb charger even if they have an iPhone as it’s still a very common charger even if you don’t own an android.

Bright = Safe!
Great product! We have purchased 5 so far for our 4 dogs. ( one got chewed by our puppy) . Nice and bright, I can set each dog to a separate color and be able to tell where each is in the yard. We prefer the Xl and it works well with the 30 pound puppy to the 85 pound Dad. The regular is about the size of a quarter and the XL is about golf ball diameter. They charge easily and stay charged quite long. They still work after playing in water but need dried out after swimming all day. ( we have labs) . Great product.

What you need to know
I’ve been buying the spotlit carabiner lights for years and when they go out I throw them out bc I can never get the batteries replaced right. This light is bigger and better. I now own 3. The micro usb charger could have been included for my $$. iPhone lightning chargers don’t fit, but my Bose speaker charger does. Here’s what’s important: the back cover turns so don’t break a nail trying to pry it off from the top tab still on the metal, turn it left and then the tab is easy to lift. Turn it back to the raised dot so the tab is on the metal and can’t be lifted off.The light will go from red to green when it’s fully charged. If you don’t want disco, press quickly and it will cycle through the 4 colors and stop when it reaches the color you want which will glow steady. My dog isn’t a foot off the ground and this looks and hangs fine. He is a swimming machine and this is just like the regular spotlit carabiners, water resistant. He wears it in the lake all day and it never goes out. It glows very brightly at night. Brighter than the battery ones ever did. It’s his own headlight! Finally, no more throwing the old ones away when they go dead. If I get the whole summer out of this one, I’ll be happy.

Nice light but too large
I previously used the battery operated light but decided to go with the rechargeable this time. For us this was a mistake as I was planning to use it on a smaller dog’s collar. This light is close to twice the size of the battery operated light and much heavier. Too heavy in my opinion for my 14 lb dog. Otherwise it is a nice light. Plenty bright and easy to use.

Dog’s Don’t Leave Home Without It!!!
This is an excellent product. It is twice as large and twice as bright as the one that requires replaceable batteries (I have both).The device charges in about one hour and the charge will last for about a week if you are walking your dog for about one hour each night.In comparison, the smaller version requires you to buy coin batteries and replace them every week or two. Those batteries cost $3-$6 each time you need to replace them. This one is rechargeable; it’s way better and way brighter!!!Also consider buying an LED dog collar that flashes so your dog can be seen from every angle at night.

Failed for seemingly no reason
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this light because I recognize the value of a company inventing useful products. It’s hard to say this kindly but I could have purchased two lights for half the price, I wanted to support their design. I do like the clip and the housing seems water resistant enough. However I started using the light on my dog Rusty in February and it is now broken with no noticeable damage.The light shines when charging but the button will not activate the light if it’s disconnected. This leaves me to believe there’s a faulty connection with the battery. I purchased this expensive rechargeable light because I didn’t want to continue wasting watch batteries on the original version.PS If nite ize reads this it’s be nice if the LED + battery holder in the rubber ball was sold as a replacement part as well, I don’t need another ball just yet but the electronics have rusted.Thanks for reading

Perfect for night time with the dog
Super bright so I can see the dog but the bright light doesn't seem to bother her (I wondered about that). Charge lasts a long time and no problems at all so far!

Bright when it takes a charge.
This is my 3rd, when they will take a charge or if you can get it to full charge they are very bright and amazing. The outer case will get grungy over time the 1st lite lasted a year. Light #2 lasted about 4 months and then the battery would not hold a charge (winter) the 3rd wouldn't even take a charge after the first use lasted with about 10min of use a day for maybe 45days.
