Update: 2 years later computer died
Update: originally I gave this product a great review with some minor caveats. The item seemed very sound but it’s been 2.5 years and this computer I paid $750 for has pretty much died. It overheats so badly that it shuts off within 5 minutes of booting. Fortunately I’m still in the warranty period of 3 years. They are issuing me a refurbished version of this device and the warranty is only for the rest of the original period. I do not have high hopes after the things I’ve heard. I want to warn everyone not to buy the Intel Nuc. It’s a horrible device. So got this device after a great deal of searching. It just arrived yesterday but can already highlight a few pros and cons.ProsIt was extremely easy to set up. Took around 5 minutes maybe less. It’s extremely quiet. Plenty of usb space for connecting other devices.Compared to other sellers who provide the same specs or allow you to customize this one is a better deal. Even When compared to buying the parts separately (Ram, SSD, etc) this device costs about the same.Cons (or need to know)There is no audio. Fortunately I have enough Bluetooth devices around that this isn’t an issue but found it quite odd that sound wasn’t internal and not sure it was made clear. While it is dual monitor capable you have to buy another dongle, hub or adapter to connect it. I opted for the hub as it provides more ports. I don’t think any of these things should deter a buyer but they are things you should know before buying.Overall a great device and highly recommended.

Cannot get customer service to reply
Bought this NUC PC a year ago and loved it. It quit working a few days before the warranty expired. I've been trying to reach Craving Savings, the seller, but I don't get any replies. I have emailed customer service twice and have called, but no reply and no answer. Craving Savings, if you're monitoring this, please contact me!!!More details: The NUC will not power on. There is no indication of power to the computer, no LED’s on the computer or keyboard, nothing on the display, etc. I did some basic troubleshooting, and thinking that it might be a bad power supply, I ordered another. I plugged it in and the computer still will not turn on.

Refurbished unit, failed in less than a month
The Intel NUC is generally a great product, but usually it does not come with a hard drive or operating system installed. We decided to purchase this one because it was already set up, saving us time. But the device is misleading. The unit is refurbished, or contains refurbished hardware - at least, the Windows 10 license is for refurb devices, per the license label attached to the device.Additionally, on first boot, the hard drive had to scan and repair itself before starting up. It worked fine for a handful of weeks after that, but now it starts up with an error, "could not find valid boot device." This means the internal SSD failed. This NUC is filled with refurbished, cheap-as-dirt components so they can get the price low and sell it at a higher margin. But you are 100% better off if you just buy a normal NUC and put your own SSD in and install Windows 10 on your own, if you know how.

The obvious choice...even for Mac users!
Long time Mac user...reached end of my rope with their hardware options. Have a 43” 4K monitor and just needed a work machine setup for web use. This little box exceeded my needs x10 and with Synergy app I’m able to use the same wireless keyboard and mouse (separate purchase) to run this and my MacBook Pro laptop (sitting next to this setup). Don’t hesitate...get it. Windows 10 is just like OS X and let’s me do every single thing I do on Mac except for iMessage (which I run on my iPhone or laptop sitting next to this box)...all for a fraction of the cost of comparable Mac gear.

If you need a nuc, this is pretty good
I bought this PC for use on a touch screen kiosk in my retail store. I have it attached to a 49" 4k touchscreen. The speed of the machine is good and what one should expect with the components included. The only weakness I see is the Intel graphics chip built in is not the best for running 4k with very much going on. I also bought the i7 version of this nuc for use on 2 other kiosks. While the i5 gets the job done, for me the extra investment in the i7 was money well spent. The form factor is great and the layout of ports is thoughtful. When taxed the machine is silent.I would recommend this computer.

The Best Office Computer
We were looking to get a new computer for our small business, I looked into building another PC in a mini ITX form factor but then I heard about the Intel NUC. After doing some research I found that this would be the perfect fit for our application. We wanted something space efficient which the NUC does great considering its tiny form factor. Despite its size it still had plenty of power and storage to run our day to day office tasks. I also liked the fact that the computer is small enough to be mounted behind the monitor and it comes with a mounting bracket to do so. I did run into one issue though with my LG monitors as the mount for the NUC didn't line up with the mounting holes of my monitor but I used a little creativity and mounted one side of the bracket of one side of the mounting holes and it works just fine. It is sturdy and organized so it makes the office look a lot better. After a little over a year of getting the first one I bought 2 more to add to our office. We will definitely be adding more as needed. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a simple, small, and easy to use computer for day to day tasks and office work.

Works great so far
I like NUCs for a non-gaming machine. So far, this one has worked great. I threw more memory in, but otherwise it was easy to set up, is fast, and does everything I need.On top of that, it arrived quickly, and didn't have tons of bloatware that would force me to reformat it out of the box. :)

Needed a new Windows 10 PC and this one checks ALL the boxes...
Coworker had a W7 PC I couldn't get to upgrade to W10 no matter what. Not worth clean install of W10, since it was an 8 year old mobo, power supply etc.A buddy recommended this NUC and I'd never seen one before. Bought it, fired it up, got it configured and it's amazing. Works quite well, takes up very little space.I like it so much I recommended it to a family member who needed a new PC. He got the same one and loves it.
