Best bang for the buck
**12/03/2022** Nearly 1 year update (9 days shy of a full year). I am still very pleased with this purchase. The charger is working flawlessly. Our '21 Pacifica hybrid is charging from 0 to 100% in just a few short hours. There have been 0 issues and I have nothing at this point I can complain about. The cord portion lives outside the garage while the charger itself is plugged in to 220V inside the garage. Cord still looks good and makes positive clicks in to the socket on the van and the holster as it should. I will say it is the ONE item I've purchased through amazon that has been flawless. If it ever breaks, I will buy another.Writing this review after 4 months of use. So glad I bought this charger. Initially I was skeptical of the charge at the price point. But after 4 months of use it has not failed to charge and at a great rate.I've connected to 220 in my garage, the read out says it's running @16amps at 245V. Our 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid charges in just over 3 hours. I can say I'm simply stunned and so happy we can run most of our morning errands, return home charge and have a fully charged battery to go pick up our son from school in the afternoon.I will buy again should the need ever arise. A+ product.

Perfect Charger for our PHEV Chrysler Pacifica
Let me just start by saying my house is old and therefor trying to track down an open breaker to accommodate a Level 2 charger was already a large pain in the butt than anticipated but when I found a standalone outlet it was a NEMA 10-30 "old dryer outlet" plug. 😒I needed 20+ feet of cord between the plu and available space for me to park my van at night and this charger is absolutely perfect. Quality is better than the manufacturer provided Level 1 charger I received when I bought my 2020 Pacifica. I love the easy read digital screen that tells me if there are any charging errors, elapsed time of charge, current kWh charging rate, etc.Everything about this charger is heavy duty from the cord thickness, to the exceptional quality of the plugs itself. I especially appreciate the cover for thr vehicle plug end so that when the cord is not charging, it is covered. From unboxing to installation this product is extremely easy to use, even for someone who has never owned a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) [I would be that person!]I did a TON of research before purchasing and am extremely happy about my purchase.

Faster, sturdier, better designed and much cheaper than my BMW SurgeCord charger
When my $499 BMW 240V SurgeCord charger died after one year and BMW refused to stand behind it, I bought this PRIMECOM Level 2 EV Charger for my BMW i3, and was amazed. It has a protective cap, a 30 foot cable, and an easy to read control box with LED charge status indicators, none of which the BMW charger featured. And it's super fast, I get a full charge in under 3 hours.

Micro Switch issues, wire size could be better.
I used this charger on a new BMW X5 45e and it does work ok when it engages. The problem is the microswitch engagement lever. There is a catch at the connection port that allows the car to start charging when it senses the plug is inserted firmly and switch lever "drops" into the detent in the socket housing. But it does not engage every time. You have to either lift up on the lever with your thumb until you hear a faint click of the internal microswitch, or lift up on the nozzle itself, and sometimes it will engage. (Plug feels fully inserted) The charger that comes with the BMW inserts perfectly and never fails to start charging. (It's only a 120-volt charger, not adequate for home charging quickly)This may be just a defect on the one I received but not enough of an issue to go through the hassle of replacement. It is working and may just need time for the catch to engage more easily through constant use. At least I know the workaround, so it works for me. Just be aware that this can happen.Aside from this glitch, the charger and components seem well built and works great. (See wire comment below) This charger produces a much faster charge than the BMW 120-volt version. One other note, the charger comes with many power plug options which is merely an added adapter to the standard 14-50P plug. The one I got with the 10-30P "dryer socket" option, comes with a "pigtail" adapter to adapt from the standard 14-50P plug on the charger to the 10-30P plug. The pigtail is 12-gauge heavy duty wire. The lead-in to the charger is a much smaller gauge and tends to get "warm" at 4700 watts, which typically indicates some current drop in the wire. This lead-in wire should be at least as large as the charging cable, which is 14-gauge. (2.5 mm) I can't read the gauge of the lead in wire; it has been shortened enough that the AWG is not visible. But you can see in the picture, it is smaller than the charge output cable. The pigtail never gets warm.

Power On
Go! Go! Power charger! This is the best charger I’ve ever used. Love the screen and the fact they make a 50in is a huge plus! Thanks for this.

Charger bad and vendor doesn't respond.
TlDR: product does not work, vehicle has check engine light with repair costs, and vendor does not respond.I purchased this at the end of May. My previous charger got wet while charging and malfunctioned.I purchased the 50ft variant to run from garage to the end of the driveway.Shortly after plugging in the car gave me a check engine light. I took it to the dealer who performed a reset and charged the car on premise. I wrote this off as a potential issue leftover from previous charger malfunctioning.Second time plugging it in I had the same issue. Taking it to the dealer again they requested the charger for diagnosis. Turns out the charger is not supplying appropriate voltage and turns on/off periodically. Diagnostic fee $270At this point the amazon return window had closed. The charger has a warranty for a year. I contacted the seller through Amazon with no response. It's been 5 days since contact.I'm now left with a charger that doesn't work, a vendor who won't respond, and a repair bill for using it. Lovely.

Quick delivery; works perfectly
This product works well and effectively charges my Chevy Volt. It has a plug-in cable; you can order whichever 240V connector type fits what you already have installed (or will get installed; check with your electrician). The order came quickly and was robustly packaged, so no damage. Thanks to the seller for an excellent product and service!! I highly recommend them and their Level 2 EV Charger.

Faults occasionally cause problems
Overall it works well and does what it is supposed to most of the time. It has been pretty reliable and easy to use. Long cord has been great for my situation. The one issue is that a fault will occur which will stop charging from occurring. This seems to happen when there is a big swing in temperature and mainly when it gets cold in winter (I'm in Toronto, where the cold nights will get down into the -15 to -25 C). Happens two or three times/month from Jan - Mar. I have a PHEV so I can still drive without a full battery, and recent upgrade to my car's software now alerts me when charging is interrupted. Before that I would be disappointed to find my battery uncharged in AM. The issue is easily fixed by just unplugging and then plugging charger back in which resets the fault.Feb 2024 update: The charger died randomly. This seems like a rather disappointing lifespan for an expensive product.
