StarKist Solid White Albacore in Oil - 12 oz Can ( Pack of 12)

Love this brand, especially in oil, The flavor is so much better! BUT...I've been noticing that the tuna,in more cans than not, isn't really solid packed....but is a decent value for a good protein.

I hadn't eaten (or even found oil pack tuna) for many years. I love tuna gravy over buttered toast, or over egg noodles...and oil pack tuna is very tender and the oil carries the flavor all throughout the hot dish. Ya, it's a little over $2 a can for 12 ounces, but tuna in water is even more costly - and doesn't even taste 1/2 as good. I've bought 2 cases and plan on getting another next week - that should be enough until next spring.

This is the best for the price.

The tuna is great in terms of taste, texture, and nutritional value not to mention the price value. I just wish they had one of those easy open mechanisms that most brands now have.

Good flavour, larger more realistic amount of tuna than the smaller cans. Good and consistent product.

This is a high quality tuna which means I can use less of it in my salads and sandwiches and still have a delicious meal. Satisfies my pallet and pocket book!
