Needed to be 1 inch longer very soft

I put them on my wheelchair arms, They looked nice and I was excited when I first saw them but they simply will not stay put. I have even tied shoestrings around the arms trying to hold them in place to no avail. The manufacture needs to put a larger strips of velcro on them and that might help. I will probably get tired of fooling with them and just throw them away.
