I had terrible hyperpigmentation after a vacation and was really devastated and feeling very self-conscious and preoccupied about it. Before starting this treatment, I took a picture of my face in natural light to see how bad it was (because it could be tricky to see properly under my bathroom lights). I almost cried seeing what looked like dirt smudged on my forehead. I researched for hours and purchased this and the alpha beta extra strength peels also by Dr. Dennis Gross. This is the closest thing I have ever used to a miracle product. I've used it for 15 days and what was very noticeable hyperpigmentation is now almost completely gone. I felt like I saw immediate improvement in the mirror, but to be sure I've taken a photo every couple of days in the exact same spot in my house with the same lighting as the original to make sure it's real. It is, and the change is sincerely astounding. I've previously used a 2% hydroquinone product (which is supposed to be the gold standard for hyperpigmentation) and never had such quick and dramatic results -- although I can't say I've ever dealt with such extreme hyperpigmentation before this. But now I will ditch the hydroquinone for good, since it's apparently toxic anyways and I'm starting to suspect it causes more sun damage in the long run (even under sunscreen). Don't hesitate to purchase this miracle product if dark spots are getting you down. You won't be sorry.

After dealing with moderate acne (and sensitivity, and blackheads, grr) my whole life (40+ now), I have some moderate dark spots that bother me still. I thought I'd have to save up for a Beverly Hills laser treatment series to improve them, but in the meantime I still look for "hope in a bottle".I use this in conjunction with the Extra Strength Alpha Beta peel, 2x/day, and I am quite impressed and happy with the results. In three weeks not only are the spots about 50% improved, but seriously my whole face is brighter and dare I say somewhat luminous (in the right lighting--lighting is EVERYTHING, ha!).All my life I've considered high-end foundation a daily necessity to look my best, and I have put my beloved Chanel away for now, I don't think it improves on my complection after using this. Which could help with the expense, yikes! However, I'd rather spend $ improving myself to not depend on pricey makeup, you know? And even though this is a 1-oz bottle, I use it fairly generously (10-ish drops on a half-pad), and I'm sure it'll last me several months.If interested in my routine, I use argan soap (generic, direct from Morocco. Dunno the brand, can't read the packaging. But it's a relatively cheapie argan soap) and a gentle scrubbie to wash, Dr. Gross Extra Strength Alpha Beta peel (half pads again), this Brightening serum on a half pad, pure argan oil or argan cream (switch it up), and in the morning Neutrogena 50 SPF/moisturizer. I've been real happy with the results.

The Ferulic Acid and Retinol Brightening solution is effective in improving the complexion as well as the the overall tone of skin. I saw results as early as one week after nightly use. I also find the serum particularly effective after my biweekly at home chemical peel (lunch/ superficial light peels like salicylic acid or lactic acid). The serum helps get my skin back to normal in a short time by brightening, reducing tautness and reducing flake formation. Something important to note is that this serum will not work at all if you haven't exfoliated recently. Without exfoliation or some kind of peel, you will get no results because the serum won't be able to penetrate the most exterior layers [ -1star]. It simply will not work. Consequently, you should not rely on this product alone (or any other similar product) to help with hyperpigmentation or acne scars - you need a peel for that ladies. While I am happy with this product I switched to the ole henriksen anti-aging (3 wonders skin collection - I've observed similar or better results). I'm turning 27 and its never too early to start thinking about wrinkles.Good luck! :)

I got a free sample of this product and liked it enough to buy it. Overall my skin is in good condition and I have taken it for granted, doing minimal things to keep it up with cleansing and moisturizing. Lately I've seen bigger pores and a texture to my skin I didn't like. Even after carefully cleaning my face, this product will stlll remove more dirt which is impressive. It has helped diminish pore size on my nose and overall improved the clarity of my skin making it look clean and fresh. They do not include enough micro pads with the product but you can buy extras at the drug store - not as good as what's in the box but they work fine. I was hoping it would lighten age spots on my face but it has not done anything to improve that. I have sensitive skin and have to be careful what I use as some products have made my face looked burned. This product is gentle and overall I am pleased with the results.

There is no other product like this one for healing the face period!Bar non, if you burn your face whether real sunlight or tan booth matters not, it will heal it before anything else will!That is a fact from all my 73 young years always in the sun One way or another.I will tell you However hearsay no about proving fact, it isn’t the sun or the bulb that causes cancer of the skin but the the lotion and or what’s in it that is the problem (sun screen that is)Oh yea and another hint is don’t ever use butter for a burn or anything else like cold water because as soon as you take it out of the water it has to go through the same burn time. Only it burned longer!Try it you will see.. but now salt water they say is a keeper. Hmm don’t know that one for sure.

It is great product. Really working. I was very sceptic first as i have used some other products claiming to be working but nothing worked. I have really bad scaring after acne and dark spots. Recently had spots around chin area and they left dark spots. Usually it takes ages for these spots to fade. I got this and started using twice per day morning and evening. After a week spots that normally takes them months to fade they nearly were gone. And i have noticed my skin improved too, more even more brighter. I will keep using it.

This is the third time I have purchased this and I like the product in general. That said, this one seems a bit off. The colour is cloudy and there is an unpleasant smell, which previous batches haven't had.The product usually brightens skin and moisturises a little and I do like it.

Ein super Produkt, das ich nun seit ca. vier Wochen verwende. Ich kann es bedingungslos weiterempfehlen. Die Haut wirkt direkt nach der ersten Anwendung glatter und reiner. Über dem Produkt benutze ich immer eine Tages- bzw. eine Nachtcreme. Die Haut wird sonnenempfindlicher, deshalb habe ich schon bei leichter Sonne bereits einen hohen Lichtschutzfaktor verwendet.

Been using this along with the alpha beta wipes. Wouldn't buy again as it didn't seem to have any noticeable effect. Have since used the wipes several times over the past year on their own and seems to work just as well.

This is my acne scar killer, it is expensive but it works. Although it takes time ( 6weeks plus ) but it works
