I've bought these a couple of times to hold embroidery projects. They are very nice to look at and don't have a tightening gear to get in the way of hanging it up. I do the embroidery in a different hoop, but this one works well to frame it. The hoop is sturdy and holds the fabric tightly. It can be a bit tricky the first time you use one, so I suggest having a friend hold the fabric in place for you the first time or two.I wanted to make sure that my fabric would never loosen, so after putting the fabric in this hoop, I cut off most of the excess and hot glue the remaining bit to the inside of the frame. That way, I do not need to worry about it loosening and the back looks clean. I read other reviews that said they sewed it in, but this is even easier for those of us who are not as good at sewing.All in all, I think that it is a good product for the price.

I have been doing hand embroidery for 6 years now and these are the only hoops I am willing to use... especially if I am doing a piece for someone else. They hold the fabric taut and secure. They look great for display. They are flexible and sturdy so I feel better shipping them as they are less likely to snap or break in transit as traditional wooden ones. Traditional wood hoops are too inconsistent and predictable. I can always count on these. Highly recommend!

This is my second time buying these, and they're just as great as the first time. They look wonderful when completed, and are prefect for embroidery that will be displayed.

These are really nice looking, they look a lot better than I expected and people seem to really love them when receiving embroidery in these.I have found that they can be a little tricky to use, since there's no tension pin to tighten. The material can tend to loosen/slide inside the frame, especially as you are getting it set for the first time. I worry that it will loosen over time, too, so I tend to take extra steps to sew a purse seam around the edge of the fabric in the back and tighten that as much as possible. I then attach a backing fabric to hide the tightening seam. It ends up looking very professional and elegant, but as mentioned I do worry about the fabric loosening up in the hoop over the years. We'll see.I like the look of these enough that it's worth the extra hassle, though. I paid about $10 for the set and I think that's about the top of the price range for these to be worth it.

I love these hoops! They stretch the fabric out very tightly and look really good for being made of a rubbery plastic material. They are a little hard to work with when getting the fabric in place but I just asked my sister to help hold the fabric while I placed the fake wood hoop over the center white plastic hoop. :)

I LOVE these embroidery hoops! I do find it easier to embroider in a standard plastic hoop that you can tighten then put the finished piece in this hoop. They look really great on the wall and the rubber pulls off faux wood really well. I’d say the price it good as well for 3 of them, even better if you can catch them on sale. These are very pretty if you’re displaying or gifting a piece.

I got these mostly for needle punching and not as frames for wall decor. These are so sturdy, and I enjoy using it for needle punching! They keep the fabric in place without it slipping or moving, which is really nice. You don't have to screw anything in to make the loops tighter in order to hold your fabric in place, and it's convenient to set up. I'm glad I purchased these loops over other brands. Definitely going to look into other sizes from this store.

Ich habe 2 sets bestellt und beide sind leider komplett verbogen angekommen… ich habe die über Nacht unter ein paar schwere Bücher gelegt, um die Krümmungen wegzubekommen, noch keine Verbesserung sichtbar. Ich lasse die noch ein Tag da, wenn die Krümmung nicht weggeht, muss ich sie zurückschicken… Schade

Exactly what I was looking for and looks great as a frame for my Embroidery.What looks like a wood frame , actually isn't its some sort of bendy plastic.but it does look like wood. At first I thought it was difficult to get onthe inner circle but with a bit of effort , it became easier.I would buy again.
