Swanson Chicken Bone Broth, 32 oz Carton

This broth is a bit more expensive than Swanson's other products, and maybe twice as expensive as bargain brands, but it's worth the extra couple of bucks if your food budget is not super-tight, for at least three reasons.First, it actually tastes good. Most purchased broths are either just bland, or actually taste kinda bad. This one I would (and actually have, a few times) drink straight out of a coffee mug and not think that I was doing something unpleasant. Your soup or whatever you're making WILL taste better.Second, it's apparent from the label that it contains way more chicken than other broth products. It says 8 grams of protein per cup, vs. 1 or 2 grams in most other products, so it's likely it contains four times as much actual chicken. I believe this, since the texture is much thicker and smoother, and will congeal slightly when refrigerated, like the pan runnings from a roasted chicken. Per gram of protein, this product is actually cheaper than any other competitor.Third, it's so much better than other products that you could use two or three cups of this and add one cup of water and it would still be as good or better as soup than four cups of cheaper products, so in the end the price wouldn't even be higher.

I first started sipping this bone broth in the individual serving containers. I loved the ginger and turmeric one. To my disappointment, the individual serving containers became harder to find in stores.Luckily, I found the carton of bone broth. I add my own ginger and turmeric to 12 ounces of warm broth to sip. Yummy, healthy and delicious!I also cook with this bone broth. It adds such a deep and rich flavor to chicken dishes, veggies, rice and soups. I love the resealable carton because it is easy to store in the fridge.This bone broth is more expensive than the stock options, but it is worth the price.

This is a nice broth for sipping when you don't really feel like eating. I wish it didn't have tomatoe in it though because I am sensitive to nightshades. It is not overly salty.

Love this ! I use this for cooking and for drinking. I drink a cup of bone broth daily. I was told it is good for your bones. Weather it is or not I am now hooked. I really enjoy a cup in the afternoon of either the chicken or the beef bone broth.

I use this to make lol and vegetable soup or even meat soups. I use the bone broth as the soup broth. Can’t beat getting all the protein and it still tastes good.

tastes good with a ton of salt. Works great when fasting.

Very flavorful and delicious! This is especially great as a hot drink on a cold day.
