Previously, I was feeding my pooch Nutro Ultra with chicken and salmon. She was doing great on it. No health issues at all the entire 6 years she's been with us. Then we adopted a second pooch -- a gassy one that would clear a room in seconds.The vet said to try changing her food. I was bummed because Nutro Ultra had been a somewhat affordable, higher-end dog food and I wasn't sure how my first pooch would fare on something different. So, I opted to stick with Nutro but switch flavors (ingredients) to beef.Both dogs love it and the change from chicken & salmon to beef has made the second pooch MUCH less gassy. To be on the safe side, I'm keeping my first girl on a 50-50 Nutro/Nutro Ultra diet for the time being.

I first shopped for this dog food at a pet store. I had to get a new food since the store I normally purchased from went out of business. So I went up and down the aisles and read the ingredient and where manufactured, etc. I decided on this one. I can't say it was cheaper I just thought the dogs would like this flavor and the ingredients seemed like those I usually shop for in a dog food. So they have been enjoying it, they even eat dry. It seems like a better deal when buying from Amazon.

I was looking for a dog food without chicken and altho I tried to read the detail, when I received the package I was disappointed to discover chicken meal and grain. It was not what I wanted, gave it to humane society!

It was hard for me to find a dog food brand that my dogs liked, that was good for them, and didn’t break the bank. Nutro fits the bill. I normally buy the chicken, but periodically get the steak and duck flavors to add variety. They love them all.

Have feed Nutro to my mini Australian Shepard starting at 9 weeks old, now 7 he isHealthy happily and full of energy. Would not even consider changing brands.

Good product

My dog loves it, yes, and she has a beautiful shiny coat. The veterinarian said she is one very healthy dog.
