So far so good!
The media could not be loaded. I started my little plant babies in the 1-gallon grow bags & they have grown big enough to transplant into the 5-gallon bags. The bags definitely seem bigger than a traditional 5-gallon pot & are much taller which means your plants will have plenty of space to grow roots. They are a great addition to my container garden. My only concern is that plastic won’t breath like my fabric grow bags so I think I came up with a solution....... I added extra drainage / aeration holes (it was really easy with a sharp pencil, once they are full) so we will see if that helps. The value for the price is amazing!!

Amazing
I've spent over 5 years buying 100+ 4+6" peat cups at ~$75.00 to give away in spring. It's like debating weed fabric and a sewing machine when you're already at $0.15ea. instead of $0.60ea.+. 4 heaping cups of soil and folding in the sides works for seedling tomato transplants. Don't know why they couldn't be recycled.

Bags work for what I need them for. Recommend
I bought about a 1,000 to pot seedlings they are great they don't rip easily but they are also not made to move constantly, I have had my seedlings in 1/2 gallon bags for about 2-3 months in FL sun, they are doing okay and now I'm potting up to 2 gallon and when removing them from the smaller bags just pull the bottom off it slides right off so you can reuse the bags. I have all the 1000 1/2 gallon bags still and can re use them for other seedling.Great bags and cheaper than pots.

Heavy duty
Some reviews claim this falls apart easily when trying to move it but I found this to be very thick and heavy duty plastic. That being said, I always put it in another bag, box, or container given that the soil is very heavy and this is still just a plastic bag without handles. At about a $1 a bag, this is a great value for my needs.

Dimensions 1/2 gal: 9in tall, 4.75”w x 3.5” d
I thought these 1/2gal sizes would be a little taller. I needed a lot of taller pots to start root cuttings in late winter/early spring, I suppose these will barely work. They will be good for selling larger plants in the spring. Lots of space for labeling, write directly on the bag.

Not reusable
I will not be purchasing these bags again. They are very cheap in price and quality. If I get at least 3 uses of the bags I would think about buying again. I reuse bags as plants outgrow the pot/bag they are in. Multiple of these bags ripped when moving them just after adding soil. More ripped when moving plants at a later date. Finally, more ripped when reclaiming soil from bags.Do not buy if planning on using multiple times/have a plant farm.

Easy cheap and sturdy
I got these to just use around my grow area as needed but seeing now that these are recommended for hydroton clay pebbles i might try some of the new drip halos and fix some of these up with the pebbles. Overall so far 10/10 thanks and i hope you may consider using my grows as tester for more products ! forgot to mention i got the 7gal bags they seem perfect for adolescent to adult stage plants .

these are great bags for the price.
what is there to say. they do a great job. sturdy and light proof. they also drain very well. transplanting is easy as pie. plants slide right out the bag and into their next bag.
