Unfilled MMA Grappling Throwing Dummy 30lbs to 140lbs, for MMA, Grappling, Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling

I bought this for my son to practice takedowns. He loves it. It holds up really well. I bought my own as well.

Arrived quickly and came with instructions. My son has practiced a few moves on it and likes it. He is 11 and we probably filled it to be around 40 lbs for him to be able to lift. An unfilled dummy is best for us since we can add weight as he grows. Also saves shipping cost. The fabric on this is tough. I don't see it ever ripping or blowing open. Cotton is the best fabric to use for filling as it is the heaviest. We only gave it 4 stars because we haven't taken it to a ring and used it alot yet.

Had a few years could only fill to about 90 lbs . Takes a beating really well and holds up

Very rugged and exactly as advertised. For stuffing we purchased 10 cheap pillows from Walmart and used the stuffing from them, worked out very well.

Used a big box of pillow stuffing from Michael's craft store instead of rags. Much lighter and easier to practice moves.

Stuffing them is an issue. Since this is the first time, it's hard to know exactly what to do. The instruction are minimal. Having a good way to get the arms to stand out/ forward instead of drooping. Any suggestions ? I used cloth pieces and actually some rubber mulch (tires) to add a it more weight. Then tying the strings was difficult- especially the last part and trying knot it off. But the kids are having fun, so it is worth it. Warren B

The dummy is tough and as advertised. But trust me if you can buy a pre-stuffed one, do it.
