I had been looking for a nice leather strap that would match my coach backpack and I finally found it. The original backpack straps were to short for me so I decided to make it a crossbody backpack. It worked perfect. The strap feels expensive and sturdy. The clasps are heavy and strong also. Glad I purchased it. Price wasn't to bad.

The media could not be loaded.  I have a very large Dooney and Burke bag which came with a thin shoulder strap. As expected, it hurt my shoulder within minutes of carrying the purse. This purchase was the perfect solution. I wish it didn’t have canvas edging, but who cares because it’s SO comfortable! The dark brown leather matched really well with the ostrich-type leather, and the padded section makes my 10-15lb catch-all seem like nothing on my shoulder. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The shoulder strap on my Samsonite messenger bag broke. I love that bag, and Samsonite agreed to fix it...but in the end, it was cheaper and quicker to just buy a new strap. Also, some reviewers of that bag complained about the hardware clips breaking on the strap, as mine did.So, I got this one. It was tricky trying to match up the colors. The center part of the strap with the stitching matches closely (well, close enough) but the color of the backing part is kinda too light in color (base color is orange-brown), even though that color matches the stitching on the bag itself (complicated, I know). What I like about this is that the metal clips on this replacement strap seem a lot tougher and thicker than t hose on the original bag, so I'm hoping it will last longer, because the bag itself is exactly what I want in every way (other than the clips breaking). One more thing...the color of the clip is ever so slightly lighter than the connecting hardware on the bag, but one is not likely to notice unless you look close. I don't think many people will be looking that closely.The strap is adjustable in length and is at least as long as the strap it replaces, and is long enough for me, and I'm 6 ft 1in tall. The price is pretty good on this too, otherwise I'd dock it a point. It is not super comfortable to me, but it is fine for me.

I never write reviews but feel compelled to review this absolute piece of crap. Metal fasteners snapped during its first use causing my computer bag to smash into the ground. Seriously crappy and disappointing product. It’s also annoying that I now have to go out of my way to return this to Amazon when they are just going to trash it anyway. $15 strap is a disappointment and a huge time waster.

I had bought a bag for my Chromebook, which itself worked well enough, but the strap that came with it was more like a very stiff ribbon material; and very uncomfortable.This works much better, though I had hoped the leather would be facing down for the padding/comfort level. I know that's more what the adjustable pad is for, but that doesn't always line up where you want it.

It has a very rough look and feel, and there are creases and fine crack lines on the leather part of the strap. It looks like a used item. Otherwise it should have been clearly described as a vintage design in the listing. The brown color also looks a bit dull and not as fresh as shown in the photo. The overall quality is quite good and it looks very durable and is suitable for heavy-duty luggage, such as travel duffle or laptop bags. Unfortunately, it does not go with my leather bag which is made of fine smooth leather. I returned this strap and the refund process was smooth and fast.

After many different straps , I finally found a good replacement strap for my Louis Vuitton Speedy bag. It's not perfect, but it matches well enough. I took off 1 star because it is too long and better used crossbody style in order to have the support section in its appropriate spot.
