It did not say in description but I ordered this and it is only 22% nomex.

The elastic portion of this hood that is “designed” to wrap around the edge of your mask does so, poorly. Mine had little to no elasticity. Will be purchasing new hood as I am currently in an academy and will not risk using a product like this and one fail the PPE tests, or worse be exposed in a live fire.

Perfect , fit with good material

This hood is not what I expected. The material is a bit thin for firefighter use. It also has s small fit. It’s not to be unfair to the company but this hood is too flimsy for real practical use by professional firefighters. Hope the review will improve the quality of the product. As a professional I don’t feel safe wearing it.

Good hood. 22% Nomex, 78% modacrylic. Soft,stretchy, comfortable. Made in USA! Mine said arc rating 16.
