RMS Deluxe Sock Aid - Socks Helper with Foam Handles (for Regular Socks)

Wish I could give ten stars this thing is so awesome. I wasn't expecting how easy and great it works. I have arthritis in my lower back and nearly impossible to get a sock on my right foot. Well this morning I got up to go to work. I hooked up the sock this this and it felt so good to not fight to get my sock on my right foot. Left foot was also a breeze to get on. I been telling all my friends about this how great it works. I definitely wasn't expecting how good

This is an excellent tool for helping those who are older and have difficulty bending down or may be disabled. My husbans is 6'3" and is disabled. He has trouble bending down to get his own socks on. With this tool he can do it. Of all the tools and aids he has- a walker, cane, grabber tool etc....this one is by far his favorite. Its fast and easy to use. It gives him a sens of independence. He doesnt want to rely on me all the time. Its important to give thoise who are struggling a sense of independence. He loves this tool.

Excellent to put on socks.Not good for small tight compression socks. I have larger size compression socks and it works well for about 3 months. I keep a supply of these. The only way I can get my socks on.

Works pretty well but cracks or breaks after a while. Mine lasted 7 months. At first, it was hard to get the sock on the device. Then I discovered that using fingernails to grab the sock to pull it on the device works best. I plan to buy another one and put strips of duct tape across the bottom to hopefully prevent it from bending so much that it cracks prematurely. If the plastic was a bit thicker and the trough just a bit wider, I think it would improve it a lot. Maybe make it with a tougher kind of plastic that isn’t so brittle and prone to cracking.

I bought this on a whim and desperation. I'm so glad I did this product is absolutely amazing. I had a total knee replacement my foot and lower leg is so swollen. I'm shocked how well this works. I got my compression sock on perfect. This little device is going to help my recovery so much. I highly recommend it.

This sock assist is fabulous. I have used it every time I’ve gotten dressed following my spine surgery. At the rehabilitation center they gave me a cardboard one and this is far superior to that one.Your sock glides on to the assistant, your foot fits in and allows you to pull the sock right onto your foot!This is a must tool for anyone who cannot bend due to life circumstances or following a surgery and wants the independence of putting on their own socks!

This sock aid definitely does work, once you get used to it. It is for those of us who can't bend our legs and put on socks very well. You have to pull the sock all the way on to the sockade clear up to the toe, slip your foot in through the plastic u-shape and use the ropes to pull on your sock and the sock aid over your foot. You still may have to pull the sock on a little bit more at the top depending on the type of sock . It's designed for two hands, but one hand can do it too, with a little practice. I've gotten spoiled by using this everyday, couldn't live without it. Easily fits in your carry-on luggage if you're taking a plane trip. I definitely would buy it again.
