Excellent product if you need to know PH level within 1/2 a number from 1-14
Bought these PH test paper slithers after looking long and hard at alternative possibilities. Alternitives being electronic testers up to £200 as I wished to have something reliable.Tested papers first on distilled water 7, acidic apple vinegar 4, and bleach 11. Also baking powder PH was 10. It should be around 8, however the one I tested perhaps had another additive. Paper matched fairly near with colour chart. If you want to identify PH levels within 1/2 a PH level on the colour chart, then don't waste your money on expensive electrical testers which can tend to not be very reliable. This is an excellent product which gives reliable results within seconds. It may be the cheapest on the market however gives a pretty accurate idea of level before and after when trying to increase or decrease PH in various liquids.Soil has to be wet enough. Tried it on one damp sample and paper didn't change colour showing PH being 6 which I don't know if it is correct or not. More testing would need to be done with known PH soil levelsDislikes.Papers tend to stick together a little so need thin knife to prise them apart. This is no big deal.Papers have to be stored in dark place as paper is light sensitive.

So simple
I have had numerous pH meters for testing soil in the past and none have really worked, not even if I dunked them in vinegar. This is so simple, cheap and accurate, why did I ever bother with a meter!I planted a new plant in a pot a while ago. Later I found out that it should be in ericaceous soil but couldn't remember if I had done this or not. So simple to check with a little soil mixed in water. And, yes, I did test it in vinegar and it instantly changed colour!

Very useful!
Bought to test the PH in a fish pond. Appeared to work well and provide relatively accurate results.Would buy again, but I think 320 strips will last me for several years.Overall, that many strips for under £4 is not a bad deal.

Cheap but accurate for a wide range of foods
Bought to test foods and drinks because I have GERD and want to keep my diet PH 5 and above. So far I have tested a range of drink and food and corroborated the readings with online info and everything was accurate. Very happy with purchase and would recommend to anyone wanting to get a rough idea of the PH of what they eat.Foods tested: apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, oat milk, soya milk, watermelon, peanut butter, soya yogurt, tap water, kiwi, cucumber, black olives.

Very simple yet totally effective.
Strips are long enough to easily dip in to liquids without getting your fingers contaminated with the chemicals you're testing. They're also remarkable strong enough not to tare when wet. No bleeding either. The readings I got were in line with the stated values of my chemicals so accuracy looks correct to. Delivery was super fast and would have no hesitancy in buying again or recommending.
