Fun, educational games, great bang for the buck
Games in the “Arcade” include Albert’s Escape (problem solving), Jumping Gertie (phonics/letters), some worm game where you eat numbers. The games in the Arcade section have three levels of difficulty. Then there’s a “Practice” section that has carnival type game that works on numbers and counting, a spelling game, and a sight words/reading one. These also have three levels of difficulty. There’s “Playground,” which has a search and find game, a timed game to see how many problems you can solve before the bunny pops out, and I think there’s another one in there I’m missing. There’s a “Music” section where kids can listen to different songs, or make their own beats. The “Pets” section has different eggs that hatch into different creatures that they can take care of by feeding, bathing, brushing teeth, and playing with. These pets become adults when we’ll cared for. There’s also an “Art” section I forget what it’s named, but they can make pixel art and I can’t remember what else. But there are quite a lot of activities packed into this little game! Players 1 and 2 have their progress saved, the Guest player does not. Some games you rotate the toy for a different orientation (my son never does). Charge also holds very well, I think we’ve only fully charged it 3-4 times in the 3 months we’ve had it. At most, my kid will go for 30 minutes on it, not every day, but there were a few times we were on the road where he had it for longer and more frequent. So my almost 5 year old took to this quite easily. I had to tell him a once or twice how to get to different screens and games, then he was off. He really loves it! He has had it for about 3 months now and turned 5, and has earned all the medals for at least one, if not 3 of the main games. The good part is there are 3 levels to the main games, each level a bit more challenging. It really is educational and incorporates problem solving. I had to of course buy two so little sister would have her own, and she doesn't use it as well, but has definitely gotten the hang of the pet game (her favorite) once you get her to the screen. She is almost 3 now. It’s a really a cool little device. I even like playing with it! I’ll try to add a video later!

Great education game system for 2.5-5 years old
it's very sturdy and compact device with real physical controls (dials, buttons, slider). i think it's absolutely great for small kids, especially during long road trips and air travel (with a headphone). In fact, we keep it in the car, so it's comes handy during weekend trips. It has a zero sense to compare Twist with iPad or iPhone and I don't understand highly rated comments with this comparison - most likely likes comes from people who never gave Twist to own kids. Twist is not worse or better than iPad - it's completely different. For us. it's single use device - to entertain and slightly educate our 4yo daughter during road trips and being able to not worry about failure or misuse of iPad (believe me, on iPad any kid will try to do what s/he wants and not what you expect). What I really like - it's different physical controls - in a modern world of touch screen it's a luxury. Square design is brilliant - for different games you have to rotate the device and use different controls - it's extra fun. Older kids 6+ years old, most likely won't use it much - though it's still may be fun for them from time to time. Well, even my wife who never plays any games on her iPhone or elsewhere had spent an hour playing with Twist when we got it :)

Interactive, Interesting and Satisfying Game-System for toddlers...!!!!
Kids love to play for a considerable time.. Interesting because it can be played from all four sides. It is especially useful for younger toddlers. They love to explore things from all sides and this game play satisfies them. Creativity and learning is the goal of this game. Good thing is: We can buy different game packs if kids get bored of playing this package....Console would be the same with new game packs... Colorful, musically interactive and indulging.... CONS: Expensive to buy new game packs though..... More heptics/shaky coordinations would have been a big feature....

Perfect for SN child! LOVE
Leapfrog has always been a hit with my kids, but they’ve outdone themselves with this one! I have a special needs child who will be 13 soon. Mentally she is at the ages 4-6. Her motor and cognitive skills aren’t the best & due to everything going on with her, she can’t really figure out how to use another big brand game controller or the games .. but LOVES to watch her dad play and she pretends to play with him. This little gem was exactly what I was hoping and praying for! It has everything to keep her busy, learning and entertained without buying extra games (we did buy the extras in case, but they really aren’t needed) The buttons light up which tell her what she needs to do next. It’s teaching her and helping her learn how to manipulate these games (I’m hoping) Even if this doesn’t do everything — ITS A GAME CHANGER, still for my house! We did buy the carrying/protective case for it. In case something were to happen to this, I would buy it over and over and over again!! It’s worth every penny in my eyes.

Great toy!!
I bought this toy for my 18 month old grandson even though I knew he was a bit young for it, but he is a bright "busy" little boy and needs extra mind stimulating toys that can keep his interest. Actually this learning game toy is great. It plays music, arcade games, artwork and much more, but is more advanced than for an 18 mo. old child but I'm glad I got it as our grandchild loves to push the lit up buttons and tries to play the games with me and this learning game system does keep him busy for awhile. Our 5 1/2 year old grandaughter likes to play the games too, and I must admit I also have been found trying to play the games. This is a great toy and I highly recommend it.

Well made, lots of games, comes with two diffrent color choices, rechargeable, comes with recarge cord.
This was exactly what we were looking for, amazing little handheld with more games then I thought, because some games have mini games in them. Absolutely love the fact that it has zero (0) WiFi connection,a very big peace of mind for parents who want to keep their kids protected. My little one does have a kids tablet (heavily monitored) and she said "she likes this handheld game way more, because it has better and way more fun games". All around it seems very sturdy and all the buttons seem to be very well made, there are additional game packs you can buy,but with the games that is already on the "twist" as we call it,they will have platy to play with for time to come. To top it off,it is rechargeable and comes with the cord,so not having to change the batterys out is awsome AND the life of the cage is quite extended,I think hers lasted over 6 hours of play time before she even charged it once. Parenting tip: The game packs will become rewords for getting good report cards. :)

Great learning tool!
Bought this for my 2 year old nephew to play with on a road trip and he loves it! Let me say this i know it says recommended for 4 and up but I bought it anyway because he just loves to learn. He was a little confused at first because his dad let's him play on his iPhone and tablet so he was shocked to learn that he had to us buttons instead of just touch the screen. But now he prefers this game unit over everything else and has so much fun learning hand and eye coordination then just simply passing his fingers over a screen. There is also so much more for him to do and you don't have to worry if it has wifi and the battery life last forever (actually 2-3 days depending on how much you let them play on it). It's very kid friendly just simple hand it over and watch them go!
