Great idea, kids get a kick out of it!
Fun little train! My almost-three year old gets a kick out of Bash's face spinning to a shocked and dirty banged-up look. The rock is worthless. I thought it would snap firmly to track, in reality it just sits there and barely gets Bash's face to turn or engine to fall apart. We've ditched the rock because it's more fun to crash two trains together with mutch better results! He wants the crash-up Diesel 10 next!

Poor quality.
This isn't the normal quality of other Thomas trains I have purchased for my triplet nephews. After only one day it's not changing crash repair feature. Costs more and a disappointment for five-year old. I purchased Diesel 10 and Salty crash/repair which are perfect. I have purchased Thomas Train several places and this is the only one that is a dud.

It kind of falls apart whenever it wants to, and it doesn't always fall apart when it hits the "rock".
