My 10 Year Old LOVES this book
We gave this book to our 10 year old son who loves to cook and loves Minecraft for Christmas. It has become his favorite present and we are cooking it from it almost every day. We've made many of the recipes. He is learning cooking skills AND they have tasted wonderful! Highly recommend if you have a Minecraft enthusiast who delights in cooking.

Minecrafter is Trying New Things!
My child (12M) loves Minecraft, so I purchased this along with a few other cookbooks. He was super excited to try, and to date, we have made the Redstone Dust Shake (loved!), and have plans to make Potion of Night Vision and Alex's Chocolate Chunk Cookies. We play Minecraft together as a family and with friends across the country on the weekends, and I know he is going to be talking this up with our friends in a couple of days. Worth the purchase, especially since he doesn't like veggies in traditional presentations. Both his doctor and I are happy he is excited to eat them with these names.

Grandson loves
My 7 year old Grandson loves all things Minecraft so this cookbook was a big hit. The recipe names and illistrations encouraged any picky eater to try new foods. He can easily read and follow the recipes. This book took him away from playing video games, encouraged him to read, follow instructions and eat new foods. And I made points with his parents. Quality book well worth the price.

Way too much sugar in sweet recipes
My Minecraft loving son likes this book a lot, but each time we make sweet treats, the ingredients call for too much sugar, thus removing 2 stars.Example: I've made frosting for mushroom cupcake according to recipe, and it was unbearably sweet, thus I threw it away and halved sugar the second time, still very sweet, but much better. Sugar shouldn't be the number one ingredient in recipes for kids.

Gets your kids into cooking, learning about recipes, grocery shopping, trying new foods
I love minecraft and this book is awesome. My son loves to find a recipe, then shop for ingredients and prepare the dish. Getting him into new tastes and understanding what it takes to prepare a meal.

Kept the library book too long…finally bought our own copy
My kid wouldn’t return this book to the school library…for almost the whole school year. So I finally bought our own copy. :)The recipes are good and (bonus!) the kids aren’t interested in trying new things. There are some solid favourites for sure- like Alex’s choco chip cookies (the only cookie recipe we use now!).Update: almost one-year later and my elementary-age kids are cooking meals! Tonight it was salmon- and since the photo in the book had parsley, they ate it with that and garlic.P.S. Salmon in Minecraft gives you 2 hunger points raw and 6 cooked.

Perfect for Kids/Anyone with a love for the Minecrafter Universe!
We got the kids this for Christmas and they absolutely love it. Letting your youngsters choose the meal plan for a night and letting them have the fun experience of crafting their very own replicas of Minecrafts foods. Needless to say my kids were very pleased with the book and the meal that followed.Photo credits go to my wife, Elizabeth McFarlane at Beginnings Maternity And Newborn Photography!
