Super convenient for my Charger Scatpack, I recently did a head unit swap which included wired CarPlay. I recently bought a wireless CarPlay adapter so I won’t have to keep using a wire, only downside was the media ports in my car are always on. Ended up buying this switch extension and it completely solved my issue. This way my battery isn’t drawing extra power, or connecting to my phone while near vehicle. Length is long enough so I don’t have to keep opening my arm rest!

The switch controls the power as stated and my Onince wired to wireless car play + video streaming unit does not encounter any lag like it did with other switches. It blends in well into my 2018 Ram center console. Now I won't worry about the unnecessary power drain on my battery as the USB ports are constantly on.

Great For Gaming Setups

Excellent gadget
I need this gadget for my Hello Kitty snow globe. I was tired of plugging the USB cord and unplugging it each time I wanted to turn it on. This gadget was the perfect answer. Plug one end into your wall USB gadget and in my case, I plugged my Hello Kitty snow globe to the other end. Now, I have a switch to turn it on and off with the greatest of ease.

great companion for a KVM switch
i bought this because I have a KVM switch for the devices on my bedroom desk.. The mouse had a tendency to not be picked up when i switch which machine has my focus.. this allows me to cut power to the mouse which as far as the machines are concerned is as good as disconnecting it, and turn it back on to reconnect.. this is sooo much easier and more convenient then reached to the back of the desk to the KVM to manually remove and replace it.. Solid option would recommend

I'm using this switch to turn off and on my cheap K-mart laptop cooler which does not have its own on/off switch. This makes it much more convenient. Switch feels sturdy and satisfying top click. I think it will last for a long time.
