Learn Hindi Vocabulary Activity Workbook (Bilingual English Hindi Learning Workbooks)

Hindi vocabulary
This book concerns words relating to things as numbers, time, pronouns, greetings, and animals. It reviews the Hindi alphabet. It gives words (in script) with transliterations, but it's not clear how to match the Hindi with English without a dictionary. This is a good series of books, but in comparison with other Hindi texts, I find them sometimes disagreeing on a letter. I use Rupert Snell's book on Hindi script (an excellent book!), yet he and this author seem to disagree whether a letter is "ca" or "cha". I like this series. It has some fun exercises (which are helpful in learning Hindi), but I'd use a book as Snell's with it.

Not just for kids!
This is great for adult learners too. You learn a lot of words, and how to read Hindi. I have this book in another non-Roman alphabet, and had no qualms in buying this book. I would buy all the books in the series.

Helpful
Considering the price this is a very helpful and easy to understand little exercise book. Too bad that when it arrive the packaging was slightly bent and so was the book but it does not stop from helping me.There are different type of exercises and guidance on some questions if you don't know how they got the answer. Would recommend buying with a context guide to teach you the basics and using this to practice.Worth the money so happy!!!
