Edge glows, Wireless Mouse, Wireless Charging
The mouse pad edge indeed glows multiple colors (pretty surprise) and can be controlled by a tiny button next to the charging pad's USB connector. The mouse is pretty good, it comes with a rechargeable battery and the mouse is indeed wirelessly charged by the pad. This seemed to take an hour to charge from empty; the feedback on the charging pad is blue normally and red when charging. The mouse MUST be exactly in the middle of the charging pad for this to work. I hope I won't need to buy any AAA batteries for a long time. After plugging in the mouse and charging it, I didn' think it worked, but it does if you plug in the wireless transceiver hidden inside the mouse battery compartment into ANOTHER USB port. Yeah, plugging in the pad is not enough to get your wireless mouse to work! Why not five stars? Because the lighting on the pad, while diverse, is not synced to all of the rest of my ASUS aura sync lighting in my case. That means the mouse pad lighting is only controlled by that one tiny button on the charging pad. If this were discoverable and controlled by ASUS Aurasync (or the Corsair lighting stuff), I would fully endorse it (5/5) rather than (4/5).

A Tremendously good value, Thick or thin
Sheerness and Thickness really are asking the same thing. This mouse pad has no real need to be extremely thin. It's slight thickness is due to the colored L.E.D. edge and the necessary mouse recharging platform. When I need to, I usually recharge it overnight or for a few hours. Rechargeable batteries come with the mouse and I assume the charger only charges as much as it needs to (so as to not 'overcharge' them). I think this because the charge light on the mouse goes off eventually and there is a light in the front of the charger that changes when the mouse is done. The illumination around the pad is cool, Bright in light and dark. But overall, I find the mouse and mouse pad to be a tremendously good value for the money. :)

Buy this for the mouse
Mats pretty cool, lights are a good brightness bit that also depends on what charging block you use. The charging pad get a little warm with a fast charger, it also make s the mouse really warm in the battery compartment which is concerning. I no longer use this pad to charge the mouse because of that. I recommend you use lower voltage charging block if you use this, not a fast charging block. The mouse on the other hand is on point. That I think is the best value of this purchase. It comes with a rechargeable AAA battery and does charge wirelessly, and also work with other standard wireless chargers. I would recommend this more for the mouse than the pad.

Decent mouse
Mouse has stopped being able to charge, I was hoping it would've lasted longer than a year but oh well.Pad has been nice, I could leave my mouse on for a 10 minutes or so and be good for hours. It was really convenient to have.

A little large but great so far.
Very good for price so far. Only thing to know is that it is not for a cramped space.
