Looks the business and it's Warm.
Fantastic as always with Columbia Goods. Love the fit and feel of the jacket especially for the colder weather were getting. I've used it in the rain and I was glad to find I was dry underneath. The best part is it keeps you super warm. The inside is foil lined and made really well. Comfortable to wear and looks nice on. What's not to like. Good price too. Value for money.

Great winter coat
Nice jacket, light and warm. I had thought that the foil lining might be crinkly or feel cold but it's very soft and comfortable.Pros- True to size- Very lightweight given the warmth- It seems to be fairly breathable and doesn't get sweaty/clammy with moderate exercise.- Outer material is soft to the touch and flexible.- Inner insulation and foil is soft and comfortable- Quite warm. I've wore this over just a shirt and t-shirt at temperatures of around 5 degrees Celsius and been quite comfortable. Any colder than that and I would need a fleece or jumper underneath.- Two larger inside pockets are useful for storage. I keep a rechargeable handwarmer stashed away in one and wallet in the other.Cons- Columbia make larger and tall sizes. It's a shame that Amazon rarely stock them as I would have like to have another inch or two in length.- The arms have a seam running down the inside of the sleeves which can be annoying unless you're wearing a long-sleeved shirt underneath.- A wider range of colours would be nice. I got the plain black but would love another in Columbia's spruce green colour. They seem to do a lot in two-tone colourways which are not my cup of tea.- No chest pocket

Excellent lightweight cold weather jacket.
Recently bought this Columbia Sportswear Company down filled jacket, to replace my now tatty long serving North Face equivalent.Have to say I’m impressed. For the forty-eight quid I paid - the Columbia lite powder coat is exceptional value for money. Quality materials and well-stitched, taped and insulated seams throughout. The patented Omni Heat thermo-reflective lining looks cool - silvery like the foil lining of a spacecraft hull. It does what it says on the tag.Been out yesterday (and today) in icy cold weather with just a t-shirt on beneath and was toasty warm. The jacket has sturdy plastic zips, which keep the garment’s weight down, and an elasticated draw string in the hem, for a dialled-in fit should you desire it.Can’t speak to water repellency yet, but I expect it’ll stand up to a light to medium rain/snow shower (as indicated in the item description) so am not concerned. Have included some photos.I am very pleased with this purchase and would’ve expected to pay 80-90 quid for this in an outdoor retailer, so nice one Amazon!Overall this is a high quality jacket for everyday cold weather use.

lightweight but super warm
Very warm and cosy jacket despite being very lightweight and relatively thin for a puffer style jacket. Works superbly on it's own to keep the chill off and can also be used as a mid-layer when the weather gets really freezing cold. The reflective lining works outstandingly well and is the reason the jacket can remain very thin but also provide excellent insulation. As with the majority of Columbia's mens jackets (and several other American brands) the zip pull is on the right side not the left ... it's not a fault, thats just how some American brands fit zippers. Size wise I'm about 38" chest and the small fits me perfectly with a couple of thin layers underneath. Price when purchased was £59 .... at that price it is well worth the money. Probably wont pack as small as a down filled jacket of the same thickness ... but I'd wager this one would be warmer in use with the reflective lining.
