Royal Opulence 100% Woven Polyester Satin Queen Sheet Set, Chocolate

I purchased two sets of these sheets in Full because of the phenomenal price ($30 total w/free shipping). Upon arrival and first inspection, the quality of construction is at least average. As another review mentioned, the hems along the top and sides aren't perfectly strait, but who is really inspecting your bed at that level anyway?The fitted sheet is actually a little large for the average Full sized mattress. I have a normal depth mattress and I had to do a little extra tucking in the corners to get a tight fit. Note that only 1 side of this material is smooth. On the fitted portion, it is the top area towards the bed. On the flat sheet, it is the side that faces the comforter. The actual surfact that contacts your skin is still nice, but lacks the lustre of the top side of the flat sheet.The Chocolate color is just as described, dark, rich, and very true to the color online as pictured. The purple, on the other hand, appears to be a much darker color online. When it actually arrives, it is not the "plum" color we were expecting, but instead something a bit lighter, like "lavendar". Don't get me wrong, they still look nice, but they aren't as dark as you might expect from the photo.The sheets sleep fine. They take some getting used to to prevent the pillow shooting out from under your head at night, but it is quickly overcome. Careful! If you have a heavy duvet like I do, it will literally be dragged off the bed with the simple assistance of gravity. THese sheets offer very little friction and you will find yourself pulling the covers back up on a regular basis.So overall, you get what you pay for. At the price point and free shipping, these are as cheap or cheaper than Wal-mart 180 count junk sheets. Don't expect the best and you wont' be disappointed. I'm sure not. If there was a 3.5/5 stars, I would have picked that, but they're not quite a 4!

These sheets were purchased for a guest bedroom and have not been used very much.They have now been used and laundered on six occasions and I think it is time to replace them.They have started to pill quite badly and the hem is coming down a little at the bottom.They have served reasonably well, I have told they were nice and slippery and a lovely color.Overall I have been pleased with this purchase.

I bought these on a whim. I needed queen sheets for a new cheap memory-foam mattress from Costco, and they were still much cheaper than store-bought queen sets. I'd never owned satin sheets before.My first impression is that the sheets were blue. Very blue! It glowed and shined, and elicited laughter from everyone in my house. I love it, I think it looks good although it is a bit much for more people.They're very comfortable. Slippery, smooth, no pills. One of my friends didn't like it, but I love it. The one bad thing about this is the pillow cannot stay on the bed due to the slippery nature of the sheets. If I just move my head a little, the pillow starts slipping away bit by bit till it's on the floor. Now I sleep with my pillow against the wall so it can't move. I love it this way.I've noticed several small scratches and tears starting to form. Some of them right away, which makes me think the washing process may be a bit too rough on the blanket. Could also be my normal use. Definitely a sheet you want to be careful with, anything sharp or abrasive will most likely tear up these sheets.They've been through the wash a few times (had them for about 2 months now), and I love them. I'd get more if the color/size I wanted were in stock. I'd get multiple pairs for myself and use them exclusively (except in the winter) if I could. I will probably buy more. Recommended with hesitation for those that are rough with their sheets, or that don't like the feel of satin. For all others, a good bargain set.

I should have known that for the price of $15.00 you just can't get good sheets - but, fool that I am, I ordered 2 sets. Immediately, I knew when I put them on the bed, this was a real rip-off. They do not stay in one place. They constantly move around. You can't even put your blanket on top without the sheet moving around. I gave them away to a less fortunate person. I guess if you can't afford anything better, it's OK to use. A. Franks

I love sleeping on these sheets. I also get a kick out of watching the cat try to jump on the bed, and then sliding off.As other reviewers have said, they do NOT hold up well in the wash. I use a gentle, biodegradable detergent; these sheets started to "pill" after the third wash. It's weird: the top sheet and pillow cases are fine. HALF of the fitted sheet is fine. The other half is where it has pilled. (After the sheets came out of the wash and I noticed the damage, I used that half on the lower part of the bed, where no one can see it.)That aside, these are really comfortable, luxurious sheets. They're my second-favorite set. I hope they hold up a little longer, though... I have sheets that my grandmother bought 30 years ago that are as good as new, and I *am* disappointed that these may not last five years.

These sheets are well made enough, but they move too much. The top sheet and comforter keep falling on the floor and the pillows slide everywhere. These might be much better when contained with a headboard/footboard or platform frame to tuck into better, but they're kind of a pain with an open bed. On those nights when I kind of curl and hook into them they are comfortable though.

It's nice and cool in touch; however does not stay well on the mattress. Every night before going to bed we have to prep the sheets and in the morning half of the sheet is off the mattress. I give 5 for visual effect, but 2 for convenience, therefore 3 stars total.
