Alien - 7" Scale Action Figure - Ultimate 40th Anniversary Big Chap

The quality is pretty top Notch, which is something you love to see with Neca due to the fact it can be a hit or miss with them. Best part is you don’t really need a stand for it either, the figure holds up on its own with the help of the tail. I love the Ovomorph, face hugger and chest burster accessoriesThe sculpting is done amazingly with intricate detail, including being able to see the skull from inside the dome of the head, which is a great *cameo, if you wanna call it that* to H.R Giger’s amazing design.Cons “Ish”:The price is a little steep at first, I got it when it was 70 dollars which is a lot, but it also has a lot to do with collectors value and edition, the size comparison to other Neca aliens is a little shorter which didn’t bother me but I know that can be an issue for mostOverall it’s a 5 for me, awesome release by Neca.

I do not collect figures normally, but I love Alien so I had to buy this on 4/26 Alien Day! And I have been truly impressed by the detail on the figure, the articulation, and the fun additions of egg, facehugger, and chestburster.I have two minor complaints that should not stop you from adding this to your collection (or starting with it, like me). One is that there is a minor scuff on the front of the dome do I can't see the Alien's left eye socket (yes I know that will please half the fandom). Second, there are many points of articulation but some have limited range. I really wanted my Alien to squat down. However, the point of articulation are fairly stiff, so you know a pose will be solid once you set it there.Overall, I am super happy with the level of detail, the accuracy to the Big Chap on film, and the extra pieces of the Alien lifecycle included, at a good price. It's a quality piece!

The figure is great overall.. And the delivery was earlier than the estimated one. (I ordered Aug 20 and received it on the 29th) my only concern is that i hope they include bubble wrap, papers, or anything that can protect the packaging of the figure. Soon as i open the amazon box its just the product itself and the box is a bit larger so its possible that its been shaking inside while its getting delivered.. Still a good figure and service, and authentic too.

The detail is great! Perfect for Giger or Alien fans. Looks good on gaming desk or in computer case.

Was immediately impressed with the detail on each of the pieces in this set, and the articulation on the alien is great. The jaw was a bit crooked out of the box but I was eventually able to train it into place. Personally I think the set would be much better priced at $40-$45 but the quality is certainly there and I’m satisfied.

Ok, I know this won't be a popular opinion with every Alien fan, but I've always hated that on nearly every iteration of the original Alien Big Chap they've made it with visible skull eye sockets. I know that in Giger's original concept drawings there was a version of the Alien where you can see the skull and eye sockets underneath his dome...but I've seen Alien maybe 50 times and there is not one shot where you can see through his dome to get a glimpse of a skull or eye sockets...it's just not in the final version of the film! Despite this, there are endless versions of the Alien with a clear dome where you can see a skull and "eyes." But not this one...at last! There's just enough paint to make that part of his dome opaque...keeping the original film look intact. Couldn't be happier with that detail finally made screen accurate, along with the overall awesome quality of the figure and accessories. Highly recommended.

I like it the head is so detailed I also like the detail on the chest bursted and plus the face and egg I like that it’s movable but I got a lil mad bc I ordered the wrong but who cares bc when I saw YouTube videos it showed that u can’t take the head off which is ok with the skull but I kept mine on and it’s sealed I love it.
